Most visitors could easily miss this little museum which is located at one corner of Schonbrunn Palace. My husband and I loved it - we were wowed by some of the imperial carriages and there were even an imperial hearse. It's worth a visit.

An honest confession : stumbled upon the exhibition as had time to kill for my grand tour entry to the palace. Since it was covered in the vienna card we stumbled upon it. Has an impressive collection of carriage.Worth a visit.

I found this display to be very interesting. Many carriages belonging to the Hapsburgs over the years. Most very ornate and some functional. Next to the Schonbrurn. Nice surprise.

This is an amazing small museum. The carriages are so ornate and well preserved. It is interesting to see the plush and luxuriously sumptuous interiors. I also enjoyed the historian on the t.v. that was set up in various rooms. At least the one that...More
