We booked 3 days of private tours with this company, and we had Max (owner’s son) for all 3 days, which offered consistency & great experience. We did city tour of Vienna, private tour of Schonbrunn Palace, & full day to Salzburg. Max was on time, attentive, informative, used multiple formats to share facts, & made sure to pace tours perfectly to our needs. He took care of us well, and we’re family ranging in age from 22 to 82 years old. Highlights were Schonbrunn & day trip to Salzburg. Salzburg was amazing, views were magnificent & we also had lunch at oldest restaurant in Europe that used to be an Abbey. Highly recommend this company & Max if you’re visiting Vienna!

We had a great, individual, informative and really humorous city tour with Peter Schreiber, during which he introduced us to his city in a very empathetic way with a lot of acting talent. We saw, laughed and learned a lot.
The organization also went really smoothly.

We (college aged son and Mom) set up our own 2 day basic itinerary with Weinguide tours and everything was perfect. Max picked us up from our hotel in Vienna and we set off for Salzburg. He entertained us with stories of Vienna, Salzburg and Austria past and present. My son and I were incredibly impressed with his history knowledge and his entertaining story telling skills. He accompanied us through Salzburg and then gave us recommendations for dinner in Salzburg that evening. The next day we set off for the castle which was amazing despite very unfavorable weather. From there max took us to our hotel in Munch where he dropped us off at our hotel with a fond farewell. He was professional, entertaining and personable throughout the 2 days we spent with him. I highly recommend Max as a tour guide and also noticed that their wienguide.net website lists all the other guides they have available so you can read about them and select the guide that seems perfectly suited to your travel needs.

Max got to know us in 1 day and this with an unprecedented passion for such a young guy. The history was told to us with passion and the themes were immediately adapted to our interests. Also, everything I could wish for was arranged before we even thought of it ourselves. Top, wunderbar, parfait, perfect !!!!

My parents and I had a private, 4 hour tour with Peter. He is unbelievable-professional, entertaining, knowledgable, and very fun!
He arrived ten minutes early and the van was impeccable! Peter showed us Vienna's highlights. He is enthusiastic with his storytelling and history of Vienna! He is also flexible-when we wanted to stop at Hundertwasser Village-he stopped right away and readjusted with no hesitation! Our last stop was the Belvedere Palace where he educated us on Gustav Klimpt and within one hour we had a great understanding of him and his work (again-highly entertaining).
As a personal side note, at the end of the tour I confided in Peter that I needed to see a Doctor. He was able to contact a local Doctor and then drive me to a pharmacy to pick up medicine (that was urgent). He did this with such kindness-this is the type of man he is! A wonderful guide and a top notch man- Peter is the BEST!

Peter is absolutely hilarious! We had the pleasure of having Peter as our guide when we visited the Schonbrun Palace. He is a firecracker and makes meeting early in the morning so much more bearable and enjoyable. His tour was immensely fun, educational and of course, completely entertaining. I only wish we got in touch with him sooner so we could have had him and his special way of touring when we visited other parts of Vienna. I can tell you right now you will enjoy your tour with Peter and there will be no dull moment. Just make sure to reach out to him early on so you can plan the more tours with him.

Our original plan courtesy of Peter was to do a 3-hour bicycle tour of Vienna. Peter monitored the weather daily and advised that we switch to a minivan tour due to a cold spell in the city. This would be the first of many accurate and sensitive recommendations made by Peter. He promptly met us in the hotel and was immediately warm and approachable. We spent 4 hours driving and exploring Vienna. Peter's tour was filled with historical information, lesser known tidbits about the royal family, cites and famous personalities, and always a bit of light humor. Despite our limited time, Peter covered a tremendous amount of ground and we never felt rushed. We even had time to stop at the Demel bakery to feast on Viennese desserts with fresh whipped cream and dark, fragrant coffees. Thank you Peter for conducting one of the highlights of our stay and for all your warmth and kindness. The Fencers

Peter met our family of five, including my two daughters ages 10 &11, for a driving tour of Vienna including a visit to Schonbrunn on a cold, misty day in late November. Having used private tour guides in many cities across Europe we can honestly say that, though Vienna was not even close to our favorite city, Peter is far and above our favorite tour guide. His enthusiasm for the city and its history was infectious. His descriptions of various events and locations were incredibly entertaining. His knowledge of Vienna and its layers of historical significance were impressive. His ability to engage every person in our family was heart warming. He made our time in Vienna much more enjoyable and will almost certainly be the element of that trip that my children (and all 3 of the adults) will remember forever. He is worth every penny. Hire him and you will spend the day learning AND laughing and will come out at the end smiling ear to ear. You are a joy and a true credit to your profession and your city, Peter. Thank you for creating such fond memories!

Could not recommend Peter highly enough! Peter took our family on and afternoon tour of Vienna and a day trip to Salzburg. Peter's knowledge of history and the area is amazing, but better is his passion and the way he delivers the information. We have been fortunate enough to have travelled a little bit and would rate Peter as on of the best we have.

Check out Peter's website for times and costs. He is very flexible and will tailor any tour to your preferences. He also knows great restaurants took us to wineries because that is what we like. Peter is a lot of fun too!
