...this one store has incredibly inflated prices on everything. Even if you just look to buy standard manner packets, buying them in the store is way cheaper. Same goes for all the merchandise. I got my friend one of those huge retro manner dispensers for around 30% cheaper than offered here. If you are near (and you will be, if... More

Yes ... there is a magnet that pulls you into this shop and the number of mostly pink products is tempting but you do need to battle hoards of rude tourists. You can get anything 'Manner' you want ... just not sure if they sell the ski helmets! ;-). Once upon a time Manner made coffee Mannerschnitten and then stopped... More

Walked passed this store our first day and noticed the huge crowds. Stopped in and tried one of the hazelnut sugar wafers. Delicious. Bought a few boxes to bring home as gifts.

The small shop next to the cathedral is generally overloaded. Nevertheless if you are a Manner-fan you have to visit the shop. If you have never tried Manner before, just buy this typical Austrian sweet in a supermarket and try it.

Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start. Growing up, Manner was always a special treat for me so when I first visited this shop, I almost started hyperventillating from the excitement of it all. You can get all the flavours and not only the wafers that are sold everywhere. The cereal is so good, try it.

Manner shop specialty is wafers. All kinds of wafer fillings. Different candies and cereals. Not much chocolate.

The shop is at the corner near St. Stephan's cathedral. We went there to buy the wafer biscuits. Definitely recommend them. They also sell a lot of other items.

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
