Visited on Tuesday 10th October. This has to be one of Vienna's grandest buildings, what an amazing place to learn at.

If you reach to Rathause you need to visit also this building. The x-mass market is unique also in December.

A wonderful example of architecture, centrally located and easy to get to. Very busy with subway , trams and main roads, so be prepared for lots of foot traffic from students and pedestrians. It is among quite a few other better known sites, but worthwhile...More

Beyond its obvious beauty and glamour, you should see just how centraly located it is, a true symbol of how important and high-regarded education was, and still is, in Austria. Massive and dominating building, yet delicate and lovely. Check it out.

This ancient university features some lovely architecture (as does the rest of Vienna), but unfortunately, tourists have nothing to do here, so you might as well just skip it or pass through it for a couple of minutes.

University of Vienna is a public university and one of the oldest universities in the German-speaking world. Besides that, it is one of the biggest universities in Europe and one of the most renowned in Humanities. The building is a highlight on Ringstrasse.

This is another example of the excellent architecture of Vienna. If you have the choice, do not hesitate to get inside the building. The sourrundings are nice, it is close to the historical center and the access is free.

As well as an online shop (delivering within Austria only), there is a Shop on the Road selling t-shirts, hoodies, etc. -- a silver van that stands outside the University's main building on the Ring. It's supposed to be open... More
