Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nini was an excellent tour guide for our Sigmund Freud in Vienna deep dive. My husband and I both have a background in psychology and are interested in Freud’s work. We not only learned about his career but where he lived and frequented during his time in Vienna. I appreciate Nini’s attention to detail and all the places she showed us during the tour. Highly recommend if you have an interest and want to know more!

Nini gave us superb moments whilst telling Freud's life story, whilst visiting relevant places that shaped his life and work.
We recommend this experience when in Vienna so that you learn interesting facts and details of this notorious Austrian character who left a legacy to the world.

Nini was very knowledgeable and informative throughout our Freud walking tour. She had helped me understanding the background of Freud by walking along the streets of Vienna, visiting the university, and the old apartment of Freud (currently the museum) during those hours. She had connected the dots from the “last session with Freud” movie. It was interesting and had helped me learn about this Jewish intellect greatly. Would definitely recommend people who are interested in Psychology and its founder Freud.

A very last minute tour as I only found out about this Freud tour the night before I was leaving Vienna. Tour guide Nini is very considerate and we were able to fit in to her busy schedule. Through the tour, not only were we able to explore the hidden gems of Vienna, the architectures, the old hospital, Wien University, but also the personal life of Freud, the history in Europe dated back to 200 years ago. The route of the tour is very different than the inner city tour, so it complements to our Vienna trip. Also good for teenagers, much better to go on tours like this than just visiting the museums/palaces/residences by ourselves.

Nini was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who made history come alive on this tour. She has also prepared background materials to illustrate some of the key places, which made the tour even more interesting. She speaks very good and clear English. The tour is highly recommended both for people who know nothing about Freud and also for experts.

Nini is an outstanding guide who can seamlessly combine her historic knowledge of Vienna and Freud. As a result, this tour is a unique learning experience which takes you back in time to experience Freud's inspirational journey. I would also highly recommend extending the tour into the Freud Museum. The tour is also an opportunity to appreciate the beautiful architecture of present day Vienna and the university.

Nini was an excellent tour guide! If you are interested in the history of Freud, this is the tour for you! It is also an opportunity to learn a little bit about the history of Vienna at large and see some beautiful architecture.

The Sigmund Freud tour led by Nini was absolutely wonderful. The personal touch of the small group was well worth the cost and allowed us to ask plenty of questions. We learned much about Freud’s life and work but also about the academic and intellectual history of Vienna itself. Equally perfect for Freud super fans, psychology students and professionals, or generic history lovers looking to get a different perspective of a city so proud of it’s imperial roots.

A fascinating tour following in the footsteps of Dr Freud, retracing the key stages in the birth of psychoanalysis. Nini was very knowledgeable and could bring back to life this incredible adventure. She was also very friendly and last but not least spoke a perfect French, so that the whole family could enjoy these few hours of time travel...

Very enjoyable and tour guide obviously knew her subject (Freud) quite well. Nice high tech hearing / headsets for the group. Thought the tour was about 1/2 hour too long though.

Thank you for your feedback Daydream. Only, we suppose there is a mistake, for The Sigmund Freud Tour Vienna (www.sigmundfreudtourvienna.com) does not use headsets. The tour path of The Sigmund Freud Tour Vienna is mostly along silent areas in the city of Vienna and our tours are private and thus mostly composed of small groups. The Sigmund Freud Tour Vienna is about 2 hours, adaptable in accordance with our guide.
