Nini took me through Vienna to show me the great journey of the Freudian experience, she is well informed about the tiniest details regarding his life and those who were around him. from where he used to study to here he practiced psychoanalysis and lastly to his home Berggasse 19 which is The Sigmund Freud Muesum. Nini is such a brilliant story teller, down to earth, cheerful and very insightful. I fully recommend this tour if you're into psychology and Freud.

We really enjoyed our Sigmund Freud tour with Nini. As a guide she was very kind and well-informed about Freud's life and psychoanalytic history. The tour included some of the places where Freud lived, studied and practiced, as well as the highlights of the Sigmund Freud Museum at Berggasse 9. My mom was also very flattered to be mistaken for my wife :- ) #freudianslips

The tour with Nini was great. The information was abundan,t covering the studies and research of Freud in the context with the places and people relevant to his biography, giving a lively experience through the walking tour.
Nini's genuine interest on the life of the father of psychonalysis makes this an animated tour, also full of historical information of Vienna at the begining of the XX century.
I will recommend this tour to anyone interested in Freud, or the history of psychology and psychoanalysis.

Nini was very knowledgeable and informative throughout our Freud walking tour. She had helped me understanding the background of Freud by walking along the streets of Vienna, visiting the university, and the old apartment of Freud (currently the museum) during those hours. She had connected the dots from the “last session with Freud” movie. It was interesting and had helped me learn about this Jewish intellect greatly. Would definitely recommend people who are interested in Psychology and its founder Freud.

Excellent tour with Nini - really pleased we did this and a great way to explore Vienna, steeped in its culture and history. Freud and the history of psychoanalysis are a great way to understand something about this city. Nini was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Well worth it.

My guide was Ms. Nini Leydolt, a professional but personable young woman who speaks excellent clear English. The tour took the afternoon and I was sick with a persistent cough (not Covid but still with me 4 weeks later) which meant I was a bit under the weather slow keeping up with her. The tour included a visit around the gallery of statues and busts, including Freud himself, in the University where Freud was eventually made a professor. We included the optional visit to the Freud Museum, recently renovated. It was interesting but not as interesting as the one in London where he settled for last year of his after his escape fro Nazi-occupied Vienna. The Vienna museum of course lacks all his books and antique statuettes and the famous couch, which he did not leave behind.
Nini has a great fund of knowledge of Freud, his colleagues and his times and is an excellent communicator. A well worth tour for anyone interested in psychiatry, psychology, the history of ideas or the wider history of medicine

Nini is an outstanding guide who can seamlessly combine her historic knowledge of Vienna and Freud. As a result, this tour is a unique learning experience which takes you back in time to experience Freud's inspirational journey. I would also highly recommend extending the tour into the Freud Museum. The tour is also an opportunity to appreciate the beautiful architecture of present day Vienna and the university.

Nini was a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide, but one should understand the tour is more of a walk through various streets and university spaces than a deep dive into Freud's theories and biography. One learns that Freud realized the unconscious was at work through treating a psychosomatic patient, had difficulty finding acceptance in the academic community, and realized his Jewishness only when the Nazis annexed Austria, but as for why sexuality or the unconscious were so integral to his theories, there could really be more detail, at least for my liking. Still, the tour will take you to the less-visited streets of Vienna, making it worthwhile in a larger group of at least five.

Nini was a wonderful guide to Freud’s Vienna. She took us into and around many significant sites. Her knowledge of the area is deep and her interest in the history of psychotherapy in Vienna is genuine. This really came through. I learnt a lot.

The Sigmund Freud Tour began at Café Landmann. Ms. Leydolt pleasantly alternated stories about Freud’s life and times with walks through relevant buildings. We were always recovered. It was such a beautiful afternoon. Mrs. Leydolt has told us so many exciting things. It still resonates with us. Visiting the Freud Museum with her was the crowning achievement. There she made us live his everyday life. Overall a particularly high-quality Vienna tour!
