We lived at Ronalds and Toves holiday appartment - it was like home! Oh, stop: at home we have no deer, no see-eagle, no northern light! In their garden you will find all of it! Regards Martina and Norbert

Spellbinding to watch a piece of coloured glass become a bowl. Hosts were charming and informative. No bargain pieces here but all good looking quality. Especially liked the decanter with the whale flukes stopper.

A friend of mine pointed me to this place. Great choice. The place is peculiar and cozy. You may be lucky and see reindeer outside the patio.

We passed through Bakkejord on the way to Sommaroy. The glass workshop and cafe are absolutely lovely, friendly staff and kept very nicely with conservatory and outdoor seating offering great views. We went on a beautiful summers day and could've sat here all day long.

We learned about this glassworks/showroom/cafe well in advance on the Tromso tourism web site and decided to make this the centerpiece of our one-day road trip out of the city. An excellent decision, as things turned out. The wife (and chief glassmaker) was not present...More
