The Oslo area's main ski resort - only 30 minutes from downtown Oslo! Oslo Winter Park has 18 slopes and 11 lifts, and offers alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing, special area for children and beginners, terrain park and halfpipe. Challenges for all ages children, youngsters and adults will all find suitable slopes. Tryvann is situated 525 metres above sea level. Evening skiing 5 days a week, floodlight in all slopes. The longest run (Wyllerloypa) is 1550 metres long with a 381-metre drop. A powerful snow cannon system and an altitude of 500 metres above sea level ensures snow from the beginning of December until April. Norwegian name: Oslo Vinterpark

After hosting Snowboard WC some years ago, they absolutely rock the park. Season pass is also among the cheapest in Norway

Oslo is probably the only capitol offering great skiing - both cross country and downhill -just a tram ride away from the city center. Oslo Winter park offers skiing for beginners as well as more experienced skiers. Well worth a visit on a foggy day...More

Down hill skiing just 30mins from Oslo. For the expert, experienced skier this is not that exciting, but it's excellent for the first ski run of the season, or a day out for the new beginner. Can get very busy at times.
