Perfect place for a stroll alone or with children. Can even take a dip in the lake on the warmer days. It is super easy to access via metro and there are plenty of parking spaces, so sometimes a bit crowded.

This lake is at the end of the metro (T-bane) line but worth a visit to escape the central city-scape. Beautiful spot for a picnic, a walk or a bike ride in summer. Has tracks for cross country skiing in winter.

It's just under 4 km around this lake which has lots of people out enjoying the scenery in good weather, for a run or walk etc. Station nearby which is part of the transport network so it's included if you've a travel card.

This is a popular place but it is possible to get off the beaten track by going up along the footpaths that disappear into the hills. There are several waymarked trails. Or you can do a circuit of the lake on a well maintained pathway....More
