Most people flock to Vigelandsparken for the sculpture and rightly so but the park itself has so much to offer. Wide open green spaces, dazzling beds of flowers and flowing water. Of course, the sculptures are amazing especially those on the bridge which are themed...More

The park is interesting and the sculptures are good, but without the guide telling us the full story of the artist and history of the making of the park it would not have been as interesting.

Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this! (Note to self - do your research!) Just overwhelmingly beautiful and odd and worthy of your time. The associated museum is also within the 80k entrance. Fascinating.

We visited Vigeland Park on a beautiful summer Sunday and even though we arrived before 9AM the park was already full of locals, visitors, and tour groups. I think I would have enjoyed more without the packs of tour groups who make it difficult to...More

We visited the park on a sunny afternoon and loved all the weird and wonderful statues. We had a coffee and cake in the little cafe. The gardens were beautiful and well tended.

We were on a tour and brought here for a very quick walk through. Unfortunately it was raining but I think that’s life in Norway! Besides the statues, back to that in a minute, the grounds are spread out, benches to sit, gorgeous roses and...More

I was really surprised by this park. There are sculptures everywhere and they tell a story. It is well worth the visit.
