We offer a multitude of opportunities all in one place – all year round you can experience summer and winter, combine training sessions with wellness, experience a sense of achievement and enjoy good food with friends. Do you love water? If so, there is plenty for you to look forward to when visiting us. Here you can take the plunge, climb, swim, dive and slide. And if you need a break, you can enjoy one of our comfortable sunbeds together with something tasty and refreshing from the café!

We visited the park and had a good time with all the different activities: water slide with racing timer, wave pool, heated pools, hot tub, diving boards, climbing wall, obstacle course in the water, saunas and more. It wasn’t crowded, but there was a little waiting to use the hot tub due to Corona restrictions. They have a great cafe with a large selection of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks. At the entrance, there is a shop with a large selection of swimwear and pool toys. The wardrobe has very many large changing rooms, storage lockers and a hair dryer on hand. All the facilities were clean and well-kept. A family can easily spend several entertaining hours at this water park.

We always visit here when in Skien since our first was just a baby. Our most recent trip our kids were 3/5/7 and everyone had a blast. The facilities make it easy to go through the Locke rooms and showers as a family. There is a fun splash pool for little kids, one slide our 3 yo could go down alone (with supervision) and big waterslide everyone enjoyed with the 3 + 5yo going down with one of us parents. There are other activities but we haven’t explored those yet. We wanted to do the Klatrepark (climbing park) but ended up with rain the last part of our trip.

It's a small waterpark that has it all. Very clean and well maintained. They have several pools with various temperatures and a slide for the fun-loving kids and adults. Everybody showers before going to the pool area and that keeps the water clean. We will definitely come back.

It wasn't first time we visited Skien Fritidspark but this time we decided to try SPA. We bought tickets and we were so happy to have some time off to relax. Once we came up stairs to SPA first thing we saw was at half of saunas was out of service or they didn't turn it on at all! Wehn we contacted one of the staff they ignored us and mean it the saunas was ok. I was in many saunas and I know when one of it doesn't work properly or doesn't work at all! So long story short - if you wanna waste Your many so try theirs SPA...

Together with my wife, I spent some hours in the pool facilities last week. It was my first visit, but will return rather soon. Nice to be inside, warm and wet, looking out to snow and winter. My recommendations!

Large facility with many possible different activities, great trails for both walking and cycling in the woods by. A little washable to get an overview, partly because maps and meadows do not match completely after the construction of a new climbing park. Especially the frisbee golf course is difficult to find as several of the first holes have been moved / changed. Pool with long water slide, diving board of 1.3.5 and 10 meters as well as wave pool and stream channel is a favorite among children

We had fun climbing in the Himalaya park. We have also visited for other activities like the water park, tennis court, ice skating rink, frisbee golf, and it's always a good time :)

What a place! Pretty much every activity you can think of in one area. All modern well maintained facilities and great staff!
This place has so much to offer I have tried, swimming, well being center, climbing, the gym, curling, mini golf , tennis, badminton, football, basket ball, frisbee golf and probably some other stuff too. Def worth a visit

The spectrum of sports opportunities in this park is so wide that it may not be fully explored by anyone. The facility is a rather well kept secret, as I does not seem to be properly made known in wider circles. My family has for eight years enjoyed in-door swimming, climbing, mini-golf, ice hockey, figure skating, down-hill skiing, plain down-hill sledge running, and walking in this park. We accidentally attended a hip snow board event there, with magnificent music performed by a DJ from a matte black Red Bull old times-looking vehicle. Also, we have often witnessed some peculiar sport consisting of throwing discs into baskets, which is well cared for in this park. And tennis. The climbing facility may be the most special gem. It consists of taking one self through series of hurdles between the tall pines of the forest, hovering over the earth in solid gear that is meticulously demonstrated by the safety-oriented crew. Grades of difficulty between the tracks are designed from tiny kids to real big heroes. There is a hotel in the compound, which you will find on the general website for this park: http://www.skienfritidspark.no/eng. This hotel is not luxury, it is a "Sportel". Expect friendly, helpful and cheerful personnel, a strange smell in the lobby, simple furnishings, a variety of guests including short-term workers from less fortunate countries, and then a bunch of fun in the park. Personnel in the sports facilities is usually inexperienced, and not very knowledgeable. But they mean no harm. It would not be wrong to spend two or three days here. Prices are not intolerable, by Norwegian standards. Dig in!

Skien Fritidspark offers a wide range of different activities. They have a large swimming area, with 6-7 different pools, spa area, not to mention in winter time, there´s both inside and outside skating area. They´ve got frisbee golf, mini golf, bowles/petanque, and also is a great area for cross country skiing. Also, there´s a small hill for learning downhill skiing. It´s situated approx 3 km from the city centre, but the area next to Skien Fritidspark is perfect for walking/jogging. There´s a café inside.
