The church was built only in 1973 so looks very modern. In 1979 it was elevated to the status of a cathedral. We didn't go inside as we have seen nicer churches before.

And this was the first church we visited in Trondheim. It is a lovely old, historical church before moving on to Nidaros.

The church was in the process of being rebuilt when we visited. Mass was being held in a attached building.

An excellent attraction. You feel the spiritual awakening instantly. You will be awed by this 15th century building whose walls and roofs still look as old as new.
