Of the 4 town in the two major fjord tours in Norway, Geiranger is the best. Both Geiranger and Flam were teaming with tourists, of course; but Geiranger had more charm. Flam was strictly catering tourists and felt hectic and theme park-y. We booked a...More

Naerofjord for sure is one of the most beautiful of the Norwegian fjords. Its narrow, quite Wild and not So crowded with tourists. Gudvangen Town is a good place to start the stroll/hike North along the fjord.great views

This was highlight of car ferry trip from Kaupanger to Gudvanden. Not busy with tours. Wonderful views of waterfalls, rock faces, an a few houses. Well worth the drive to get to 15:00 ferry and get the late afternoon sun.

There is no need to go here, its way too growded. All other places along the sognefjord are far better to visit.
