We were driving about 5km inside the Laerdaltunnel before we realised that... it's just a freakin' tunnel. Might be the longest, but still pretty boring. So take the Aurlandsvegen instead. We turned around and had no regrets. The view is stunning, even with rain and...More

Driving this route is a great experience for the whole family. Along the way there are plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery. There are snowfields, small lakes, and nice views along the way.

A great place to drive up to and have a view of the Fjords, Route 50 and 52 offers superb view and driving . Please take these routes instead of E18 and once there go to Flam which is 15 minutes away.
