Julehuset in Bergen is an all-year round Christmas shop. In November and December the shop has 3 floors of Christmas products. The rest of the year there are Christmas products on the top floor only. The shop has everything one needs for a traditional Norwegian Christmas celebration. We sell: baubles, Christmas lights, angels, Christmas tree stands, "nisse" figures, napkins, textiles, Christmas nativity scene and many other decorative items.

Nice Shop At The Head Of Bryggen

As you approach the Old Houses in the Bryggen Wharf area walking from the Fish Market, you come across this beautiful Christmas shop. It puts you in the CHRISTmas spirit at once.

Great place to buy your x-mas stuff. Centrally located on the quay. Paradise for those who love x-mas.

My experience was kind of ruined by my expectations as I was expecting genuine locally made souvenirs and most of the stuff turned out to be overpriced Chinese crap. However the aesthetics of the place was quite nice and I would still recommend taking a look there.

One of the nicest gift shops right in Bryggen. There are 3 floors...and make sure to make it all the way to the top. There are cute ornaments for decent prices. I bought 2 moose ornaments made of wood painted red and a Dalahäst Swedish horse with ornamentation. Credit cards are easily accepted.

The upper floors of this shop are accessed up a slanting staircase that feels a bit scary but once you're up the extensive collections of Christmas decorations are a joy to behold. If I lived in Bergen, this would be a must in November though it felt a bit strange in August!

Interestingly crooked building, all three floors. Nice place to poke around on a rainy day, some very unique Christmas items. Be sure to venture UP!

A good selection of souvenirs. The store is just very narrow, and it was filled with people. Hard to move, see, or shop. But the service was friendly, and I did find what I wanted.

What a find. Lot of lovely things to look at and buy. Souvenirs on the ground floor and then 2 floors of Christmas. Really enjoyed browsing and buying.

We took a wander into this store, it was positioned at the end of a quaint row of shops facing the harbour. The Christmas shop was on the top floor (3rd) not good if you have mobility issues are these were crooked stairs as expected in this old building. What a pleasure though when you did get up there!
