I had seen photos of the pier and thought it looked like Cromer pier...how wrong was I?! The structure is similar but it is so run down, unloved and uncared for. The disclaimer on entrance was a bit concerning, the board walks were partially shut off because they were rotten, the floor you walk on was unnervingly spongy. The paintwork... More

We stayed in a hotel in Swansea so decided to have a walk around mumbles. It is a lovely beach and great for walking. Has some really sandy parts and also some rocky areas, great for the kids to play if you have any.

Dont really know what the pier or lifeboat station is like as the gates were locked...so obviously closed. I dont have a problem with this , my issue is that they dont notify you of this before you pay for the car park. So you pay to park and then find out you cant see what you went there to... More

Hi Mike, We are sorry to hear this. Our pier is open daily and unfortunately last week we had to close on particular days due to very strong winds. In future if this happens again we will be sure to put a notice on the car parking machine. However, if this does ever happen again please do not hesitate to... More

I had friends visit in September, they had four young children with them. The view is amazing from the pier looking out to the old lighthouse. The amusements for the kids are brilliant and well worth the spend as all kids loved it, the ice cream from the near by ice cream shop is the best in the uk. Roll... More

Very disappointed that they let animals inside. Will not go again as I hate dogs! Clothes stank after leaving because of type of food served. Breakfast muffin had 2 'complimentary' chips, must have fallen off someone else's plate!
