About
Now halfway through a truly transformational refurbishment Mumbles Pier is one of Swansea's oldest and most famous landmarks. Open every day, except Christmas Day, so come hail, rain or shine, you'll always get a warm welcome here at the Mumbles Pier. The Victorian Pier is open to all visitors free of charge. And there is something here for everyone, young and old alike - from the arcade machines to Bowling alleys, or a relaxing traditional afternoon tea in our exquisite Victorian-style Beach Hut Café. And not forgetting our Gift Shops and unique Big Apple all alongside our Private Beach with spectacular views of the Lighthouse, Bay and of course Pier. The newest addition to the family is our newly opened art Gallery. The Little Stone Gallery opened in December 2016 and welcomes the public to view and exhibit soem of the most talented established and emerging artist in the local community. This Winter we have many events to keep everyone enteratined please visit our website for all future event. Our next event is our Christmas Concert hosted by the wonderful Gwalia Singers on the 20th December at 7pm this is a free event and sure to be busy so make sure you arrive early!

Fantastic Experience today!! Visited for the Breakfast with Santa. The upstairs room is decorated beautifully where we were invited upstairs to the Santa's grotto. Not too many people at each session either, which made this far more enjoyable. The staff were fantastic. My three year old son has ASD - the elves, entertainment and catering staff were so accommodating and caring. After a delicious breakfast and games we finally got to meet Santa, followed by a secret key visit to the elves toy shop. Highly recommended we had such a lovely time and had great photos for festive memories. Thank you.

Went for the after-school kids deal which is fabulous value. Kids had tasty meals with fast service and my chicken sharwarma was delicious. Thank you so much, lovely evening, 5 stars!!!!!!

Really good. Excellent example of a Victorian pier. It is located in a excellent seafront with plenty to see, eat and do. Also it must have the cleanest public toilets I've ever seen. A big plus when you have young children!

2nd year on the bounce that we have had fish and chips at the pier....superb quality and really great value at just £10.95...better than most of the pubs and much cheaper....young staff were attentive, friendly and efficient....marvelous....diolch.

Used to be a an OK place to visit but not any more , most of machines are now tickets which is a win win for the owners, as you just plough loads and loads of money into machines get tons of tickets and end up with sweets as a result, owners laughing all way to bank understaffed ,toilets are filthy on regular basis , needs new management

I like a pier but what I most like about them is being able to walk all the way out to the end. I was denied this by the renovations. The hand basin in the gents could be improved. I have no idea why a small dog was walking around wearing a bungee strap.

quite pretty pier with lovely café here. Sunny day would be very relax here. But part of near around having some construction. a bit dust & noise. however, pier itself still very good for visit

It's a nice walk from Mumbles to the pier, and back.
We did spend a lovely few hours at a place called "Bar". On a beautiful day like we had it's a great place to stop for drinks
Otherwise, it has an arcade and more construction works than I could shake a stick at.
Be careful as well the cyclists generally don't care for pedestrians.
A nice walk on a lazy day but wouldn't go out of the way to do it

We parked on the long stay car park just before the roundabout in town The White Rose pub is on the corner of the roundabout we got lucky with a space both days £6 for the say. It's nice walk along the promenade to the pier from there anyway. There weren't any spaces at all closer to the pier

is there a bus that goes from downtown Swansea to the pier or is it waklable distance?

The 2B bus leaves Swansea bus station, Bay W, at a quarter to the hour. It runs to the pier, but I recommend you dismount in Mumbles and walk to the pier along the sea front. It’s about a mile to walk. (Buses 2 and 2C also run to Mumbles from Swansea). At the moment, 16 March, the actual pier is closed for repair work, but the cafe, restaurant and amusement arcade are open on the forecourt. Hope this helps.
