I had a fabulous, but busy (shopping in Swansea City Centre, visiting Singleton Park and the Mumbles) day with my sister and nephews. We decided to end the perfect day with a visit to the arcades at the Mumbles Pier. The pier was undergoing restoration work, but was busy with a cafe, a shop and bowling alley, as well as the arcades. Most of the machines were working and the boys thoroughly enjoyed their time at the pier. There were fantastic views across the water.

* plenty of empty tables and now I know why.
* my husbands chips were cold and stale.
* He described his curry similar to runny watery gravy.
*Children’s fish bites meal was pale, soggy, undercooked battered fish fingers. The chips were also cold. My 3 yr old grandson couldn’t eat this meal. This meal did not include a drink.
* quite surprised that you had to collect your knife and folk from an open tray, which everyone els touches ( not very Covid aware).
* I couldn’t find any fault with my cheese and Ham panini, plenty of filling and hot. The side salad was fresh as were the few crisps.

We had a great visit to Mumbles Pier today to visit Santa and his amazing elf team! We had a beautiful afternoon tea very festive and then went to an extremely busy Santas grotto!! While we waited little over an hour to see Santa we had the most magical experience with two very special, amazingly engaging, smiley, friendly (and probably extremely tired) elves Pixie and Plum. The pair worked amazing to create a magical experience for my two busy toddlers and all the other children too. They sang, danced, interacted and ensured we had everything we needed to meet the big man himself who was just perfect!! A huge well done to you all!
While our wait was very frustrating our children were totalling enjoying themselves, all out frowns were turned upside down by the cheekiness and happiness of the elves. As a primary school teacher myself I know how hard it can be!!
And as for Santa, wow! There are no words!! The personalised touches for our family and inclusion was second to none. Santa took the time to talk to both of our children and really kept that magical feeling- he even had us believing.
To finish off our trip we were given a magical key to exchange in the brilliant toy shop, what a wonderful array of toys and actual toys- not the “junk” you would expect. A magical experience that we, as a family, will treasure for ever.

Thank you so much to the team at mumbles pier we will sure be returning next year!

Mumbles Pier is a lovely little place to visit. We visited in November, so it was pretty chilly but we enjoyed walking down the Pier and to the beach! It has an arcade where we stopped for about half an hour, it was clean and all the staff were pleasant. Lovely views of the lighthouse and an overall nice place to visit! ☺️

Despite some rather rainy weather, we really enjoyed a stroll to the quintessentially English Mumbles Pier. There are some excellent shops and cafes in the town too. We enjoyed our visit so much that we returned another day!

Fab day out cupcake decorating and pumpkin hunting at the pier. Delicious food in copperfish as always and a great time had in the arcade. Love the events planned down here especially when majority of them are free.

Not the most exciting pier on the planet but worth a visit just to support the RNLI with a shop purchase. Good places to eat.

Mumbles pier is a very beautiful part of the world. They are obviously in the middle of restorations at the moment but I think it will be amazing when it’s done . There is an arcade and bowling for the family a place for fish and chips. And the RNLI lifeboat station right at the end of the pier with a little shop. What a view from the platform. Loved it
