Interesting house and history discussion. Upstairs of the house has a very interesting display of pictures and descriptions of his life and times. The tunnel tour was something new to us!

Our guide was so knowledgeable and made this tour very interesting and entertaining. We were able to walk around the house and grounds and outhouses. We walked through the underground tunnels, only 2ft wide, a bit scary but lit so not too bad. Well worth...More

We had no idea that our first president, George Washington, visited Barbados and his purpose of going there. The guide was very respectful and informative. I highly recommend doing the "tunnel" portion of the tour as well. It's another interesting and surprising part of Barbados.

If on a time crunch get a taxi from airport which are generally more "on time" than the local mini van type taxis which locals use. Also, get pricw before entering any "taxi" or be prepared to pay more than you should.

No. In fact most of Bridgetown is also closed on Sunday...that seems the best day for staying on the beach!
