Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful beach but totally inadequate 'no dogs' signs - one on the far side of the life guard station about 30 yards from the board walk from the carpark. There's even a poo bin by the board walk! Got slapped with a fixed penalty fine within minutes of being on the beach. Underhand sleazy way of getting cash from unsuspecting tourists. Shame on you Pembrokeshire County Council!

Large expanse of beautiful clean sands, unfortunately, one has to navigate the wide strip of stones and pebbles to access it,unless you find one of the few "boardwalks" onto it.
It seems to constantly be exposed to the winds which make it a perfect spot for windsurfers and surfers alike.
Dogs are only permitted at each end of the beach, not allowed in the middle section.
Car parking(charges apply) is available at either end,and towards the middle of the sands.
Toilets are at each end.

Visited with dog. Either end of beach are dog friendly only central part of beach cannot be used by dog.

Plenty of space for dog to run around off lead without disturbing other people.

Tide goes out a long way. Large sandy beach. Surfers use and there is a RNLI patrol and lookout.

Plenty of parking - £1.50 per hour. Toilets in car park area.

Totally inaccessible for anyone with walking difficulties. There is a boardwalk ramp up the large shelf of pebbles, but this stops at the top & there is no safe way down. We paid for parking & left after using the toilets.

Wonderful beach, year round, wild, windy, stunning views. One of Pembrokeshire's best surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing beaches

We were here on an incredibly windy day which tainted our experience. We really disliked the loose stone barrier created to protect the road. Why there is not some structure to get over the stones is beyond me. We hiked and and were uncertain where things were. It was a nightmare climbing over that multiple times.

Beautiful beach but access is tricky. You have to climb over a large shingle bank. Free parking but limited facilities.

This is a beautiful beach, spoiled for the less mobile by the lack of easy access. First time we had been here and were baffled that at no point in the 2 miles of beach was there steps or a ramp to be able to negotiate safe access to enjoy this beautiful beach. We managed to get on the beach, but getting off it an absolute nightmare. My partner had to crawl on her hands and knees up a 45 degree bank of pebbles to get back on the road.

Unexpected find, glorious beach at low tide. Lovely surf shop/cafe with free parking for customers. Idyllic. ( Surf shop/cafe/pub also all excellent). I liked that I could leave my stuff on pebbles as nobody needs a damp sandy wetsuit in the car.

Quite nice beach. Such beautiful surroundings, and lots of activities. Not sand beach, but nice round rocks. Nice to either sunbathe, surf, take a dip or just sit and enjoy the sound and beautiful surroundings.
