Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were part of a catered evening event of about 400 people. The decor was great, the food fine. As it was very important for the group to hear the announcements, the sound system was terrible. More emphasis needs to be put into testing the sound levels and probably more treble for speaker clarity.
When it came time for the live band entertainment it was next to impossible to have a conversation even when shouting in someone's ear. I think I understand that a live band needs to be loud and party like, but I think this could have been accomplished with less overall volume.

It’s a shame the outside hasn’t been renovated, I know it’s money & such a shame but so many other needs

This is next to the Towner Gallery and looks closed - but is a beautiful building that still operates as a function venue. Beautiful building and preserved in traditional glory.

Checked this place out on a walking tour of E’bourne. Rather pretty place. Quite unassuming in first appearance but when you take time to stop and admire it is rather nice. Well work a visit and easy to locate in town.

its a shame the entertainment you want to see is in a winter garden///most are old musty buildings that should be renovated or pulled down to make way fortodays modern theatres.

No parking in the area, so get here early. Theatre is different to what you expect, you go in ad then downstairs, Disabled entrance around the side, so get here earlier to find it. Not enough toilets in the break, so a queue as usual. 2 Bar areas, we don't drink so we were not bothered, not sure if you could get tea /coffee, I never saw a sign. We just bought bottle coke and kept that with us all in evening. Don't sit on the sides, you cannot see the stage very well, only in the middle do you get a good view. staff very helpful

This was our first time at the venue.
It's very deceiving from the outside and is far smarter and bigger inside than what you'd expect.
Staff were very friendly.
The show was excellent with a good sound system.
The review has been marked down one star because of the seating which are removable conference style chairs rather than proper theatre seating. Not good for anyone who has back issues and also quite narrow. This is the common problem with venues that are multi purpose rather than a stand alone theatre.
All in all an enjoyable evening and we would consider returning. Local parking is free after 1800 hours.

A bit old fashioned but went to see Johnny Cash Roadshow there and it was loads of fun. Good views of the stage and you could pre-order drinks for the interval

We had booked tickets to this theatre a couple of months ago, we saw Ellington sings Elllington. Music was good, acustics all good, staff friendly, limited food, theatre bar. Building old but well taken care of.
