Just started swimming here, the cleanliness is awful. Changing rooms and pools desperately need cleaning. Have read the same feedback on here for the past 2 years, come on Sovereign Centre, clean it up!!!

Took my 4 kids swimming absolutely loved it!! Was in there for 2 n half hours as it was like a giant bath. Easy parking! Fairly clean. Waves was on every half hour. Shallow bit for babies.

It if wasn't for the children I would never set foot in this place again. Overpriced for what it is, i.e not a particularly large pool, overcrowded, one mediocre flume. We were charged the non-resident fee even though we presented our resident card. Fortunately we were refunded the difference on our way out, but it was clear that the desk staff are not aware of the prices. I'm amazed that the young man who served us has been given a customer facing role - poor customer service skills verging on rude! When I asked if I'd accidentally been charged the incorrect rate he shrugged and said 'ask her', pointing to the member of staff next to him. I'm sure there are nicer swimming pools in the area to take the children. Hopefully more reasonably priced too!

I visited with my 2 teenage boys. We’ve been a few times before as the boys enjoy the diving pool. With 5 pools this could be an amazing place but this time it was noticeable that money badly needs to be spent on maintenance and a deep clean. To be fair this state of affairs is pretty typical in council owned leisure centres. Visiting from up north the cost was about £5 more than I’d spend at home.

Cannot believe I was charged over £18 for an adult and 2 children and over £5 for 2 spectators!!!!!! The pool absolutely stunk and the water was absolutely vile if you got any in your mouth. The wave machine didn’t work properly and the car park is littered with holes. Will not be going back
