We LOVED this little museum!!! It’s been brilliantly curated from one man’s collection and what a collection it is! You first walk through fitted period representations of a home (lounge & kitchen), and then on to both local and universal war related items on display, Big, shiny publicly funded museums are one thing. This museum is quite simply another; it is a TREASURE!

Despite living not far away I hadn't been before. I'm so glad I did. I was staggered how much genuine wartime artefacts there are in the place. There is plenty to look at. So much history about the area too, most of which I didn't realize before visiting. Exceptionally well presented and maintained displays and a friendly welcome. You can spend ages just soaking up the atmosphere.

Our visit to Home Front Museum was unique in history & nostalgia. There are thousands of artefacts illustrating both the sadness of human suffering & the material items of a time that should forever be in our memory. Visitors & locals alike should share our wonderful experience. Thank you.

An excellent museum which gives a real experience of life on the Home Front. The exhibits are really good and each one is accompanied by an A4 sheet with information about it. There is a display of photos and information about women connected to the area and what they did. Also a beautiful replica of the ‘Changi Quilt’ also with information. Very well worth a visit.

The museum is a fantastic place, the exhibits really give you a sense of life during the War. We will definitely return with friends and family. Laminated information throughout is very easy to understand and informative. Admission price is very reasonable and the owner is really pleasant and takes time to talk to you.

Great place to visit. I went with my parents who recognized some of the items on display. Affordable and really great to think an individual has collected all these items and displayed for us. Really unique and good for those visiting North Wales. Well done to the owner.

This is a very interesting small but well stocked museum concentrating mostly on the second world war, and it has a good local flavour with biographical information about some of the people such as local Land Girls and army officers. There was plenty to see. The owner's passion for his collection was evident. I will be returning when I don't have grand children with me who are impatient to get round quickly. I particularly liked the recording of Neville Chamberlain's radio announcement of WW2, which contained a bit more than the main declaration of war on 3rd September 1939 which we usually hear. Very moving, and left me wondering how the original listeners felt when they heard the Prime Minister's sad speech.

This was such an interesting museum,myself and my husband were captivated by the displays and they were so informative . Well worth the admission price and we spent a lot longer than we'd anticipated looking at the displays and exhibits. We couldn't believe this was the work of one man. I have been to a number of places like this which were larger, but for it's size it's full of really interesting stuff a lot of it sourced locally. Well worth a visit with a lot of stuff about how Llandudno became Whitehall, that is all the relevant government offices etc moved here for period of the war utilising the hotels for offices etc. I did not know that! On another note there is a daily bulletin about stories during ww2 about Llandudno on Facebook, well worth a look as a lot of effort goes into the research

What a hidden gem this place is. Immerse yourself in 1st and 2nd world war life . So much to see and great descriptive cards for all the information you would find interesting, loads to see and only £4.50 to get in
