About
An ancient church on the Great Orme, overlooking the sea and surrounded by a historic churchyard. The church is sometimes confused with the 20th chapel in the adjoining Great Orme Cemetery. The church is open every day from 1 April to 31 October and weekends, Wednesdays and bank holidays the rest of the year, weather permitting. Open air services are held on Sundays at 12.00 noon from the end of May till the end of September (in the church in bad weather) and monthly services are held in the church over winter. During August Pilgrim Prayers are said at 12.00 noon Monday - Saturday; these are Celtic prayers for the 21st century. Information leaflets and booklets are available in the church. See the church website for further information and details of events.

Cute picturesque little church, grounds are so peaceful and tranquil. Can here nothing but bird song with the occasional bleet from the sheep or vehicle going past. Walked down from the tram drop off at the summit. Recommend taking the longer less steep gradient route to the church as saw numerous groups struggling with dogs, children elderly etc. There is an honesty box for postcards, information leaflets bookmarks to inside the church as well as a free b/w leaflet on the history. Also a time line indoors of the event and last year of what gone on with the church which is nice.

We made the walk down to the church from the Great Orme summit and so glad we did. Lots of interesting graves and a beautiful little chapel where you can scan a QR code to reveal some historically significant graves. We arrived just before the 12 o clock Sunday service, held outside. To sit under a tree, listening to the congregation singing Amazing Grace whilst looking at uninterrupted views out across the bay was an experience in itself and would highly recommend.

Driving to the top of Great Orme, stopped off at the view point in front of St. Tudno's Church, so took the opportunity to stop and explore.
Well worth a look away from the main tourist sites of Llandudno.
Small free parking area just outside.
Great views.

This 12th century isolated church is well worth visiting - you need to do a slight detour on the Great Orme road. Unfortunately when we visited it was closed but there is a very large cemetery and there are really spectacular views over the nearby sea. Outdoor services are held in the summer. Toilets close.
Well worth a visit if you are doing the Marine Drive toll road

Stunning church and grave yard. We parked up in the camper(in winter) at the little layby in front of the church, had a visit from the goats and a walk round a very atmospheric graveyard. Really old grave yard.lovely views .

with most interesting cemetery. Interior of Church small and pleasant. Dates back years and the saint Tudno gave rise to the name of town Llandudno. Great views of the sea and if you are lucky as we were, goats abound! Clean toilets by the road outside Church.

Picturesque, little, ancient church and churchyard overlooking the sea. It is in pretty good order and seems to be well tended. It was closed when we visited so I cannot speak for the interior. We reached it during a walk from Marine Drive over the Great Orme (up a fairly steep incline).

St Tudno’s is a very special place. The graveyard is really interesting if you like finding out about history and people. It is quiet and a lovely place to sit and relax.
Unfortunately the church is closed due to COVID 19 but is worth seeing, if you get a chance.

A pleasant looking little church which, despite signs to the contrary, was locked. Some interesting graves.
