Small pub on St. Helens street. Has a fair bit of competition from the nearby dove tavern and the grinning rat. Has a large south facing, Tarmac beer garden. Very pleasant to enjoy a pint in the sun. There is a separate pool table room. Beer is reasonably priced and staff are friendly enough.

Popped into the Waterlilly on route to the Rat, the place looks lovely, kind of has a split personality - stylish design yet regular estate pub feel? Landlord is really friendly (loves his Jaggermeister lol) The beer was cold and tasted great - best of all the friendly banter. I recommend a stop off for one at least to see whos in!
