I have been in here several times before and had great service and food though bit expensive quality has always been good but this morning I was bitterly disappointed with my once a week breakfast treat. not blaming the young man that served me as he was working alone serving on till and trying to serve breakfasts, keep food trays full and serve drinks as well and I had to wait a while before being served so he was naturally looking stressed out at barely 9.30 am. I ordered a big breakfast as up to 12 items at £3.99 it's a good deal if everything is there and this keeps me going till lunchtime no problem as I've never ordered 12 items but today when it was bought over to my table my heart sank. fried bread was frazzled and as I cut a piece of it ,it went flying off the plate. Bacon was dried out and frazzled to hell It was almost impossible to cut and chewing was hard work too, hash brown was cold and tasted weird like a slight off taste and sausage were ok but nothing special and eggs were dried out so no dip in yolk that I love. the mushroom was watery and tasted rubbery I hate to say it about the best thing on the plate was the large spoon of baked beans and the half burn't slice of brown toast. I was looking so forward to this as a treat but won't go in there to eat again as the grease from it is still repeating on me after 5 hours later. Such a pity and insult to a great British traditional breakfast. I sadly left a lot of it as I really felt if I had eaten this I would have been violently ill. Hate to say it but I can't see me going in this place to eat again.…
