I booked a taster session for my husband and I for our wedding anniversary. The whole experience was brilliant. Skilled and supportive guidance enabling us to produce pots on the wheel. We came back to paint them and love the moment of our time together.

I was bought a pottery taster session for my birthday. They get booked up quite quickly so be patient. I was in a group of 3 other people to throw our pots. Mark does a demonstration of how to throw a pot first. Then it was my turn to take the wheel! It was pretty easy to centre the clay but not so easy to pull it up into a pot. Mark is fantastic in guiding you though to make your pots. Once you have made your pots, you then get to decorate a vase, tile or pot. This is brilliant and made me very creative! Once my pots were hardened, I then went back to decorate them. I really found this process so relaxing and therapeutic. I received a text message to say they had been fired and ready to collect about 10 days after. I'm happy to say they survived the firing and am over the moon with the finished product. Thank you Mark and your glamorous assistant. I cannot recommend you enough!

My mum and I went last week as a late birthday gift! We had an amazing experience and both the owner and the lad working with him were very knowledgeable and helpful! I thoroughly recommend going if you’d like giving pottery a go!

Fantastic experience with Mark at our pottery tasting class! Marks a brilliant teacher with decades of experience & knowledge, and he happily shares it with you. Mark is kind, patient & very gentle with his teaching. We booked a taster class where you get to make three pots, glaze them and take them home (extra costs if you want to take more of them). Wonderful experience & can't wait to do more! Oh and the cow shed in general is a lovely setting too!

Today was our first experience to Tradpots and it definitely won’t be our last! My husband and I did the pottery taster session, Mark is very knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher and we were both amazed at what we managed to make. Thank-you Mark!

The pottery lesson was fantastic! It was so much fun, especially working with the potter's wheel. Mark, our teacher, was hilarious and kept us laughing throughout the class. We had an absolute blast and highly recommend it to others!

An amazing couple of hours (Taster Session) with TradPots! Had great fun making two pots and painting a third. A great introduction with one to one tuition. Family Easter trip with 19 and 17 year old. Would highly recommend and make sure you check out the rest of the other businesses/shops at Courtyard Craft including the cafe!

We did the half day pottery class with Mark. We made 4 pots each and it was great fun. Mark was an excellent teacher, patient and gave lots of help and advice. We're looking forward to our return visit to decorate the pots. We would definitely recommend and there was a great cafe next door - perfect for lunch!

Had a gift to go to the studio to throw a few pots .was the first time on a pottery wheel. The instructors were very clear on how to make pots . Showed you first .they were with you every step of the way in making your pots . Then went back the following week to paint,which was good fun aswell. Just waiting for the text so we can go back and collect. Can't wait will go back. staff really friendly. Would recommend to anyone who likes to give it ago.

Visited as a complete beginner and can't believe what I managed to make. Mark was so patient and incredibly knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and only wish we lived closer so I could come back more often
