We must have done this trip 8/9 times and love it. Very informative skipper who tells you all about the different islands in the bay. It was quite cold and windy when we went but lots of space downstairs which is sheltered. Costs £12 each...More

The best way to get you to the Island of Brownsea, reasonable price and fairly comfortable trip. Can get busy in the summer time.

We use the ferries, to relax and see all the other sights in the harbour. You can see the million pound properties alone Sandbank, all the islands, branksea castle or take the ferry along the Jurassic coast.

What's not to like about this ferry ride across to gorgeous Brownsea Island. It's pleasant, short, great views from all seats and staff keep you safe. Always runs on time & boats seem in good repair.

Cheaper ferry is from Sandbanks as it is a shorter crossing (£6.50 as I recall) Free access to island if you are a NT member.
