great place for enid blyton fans --nostalgic with lots of lost & found Enid Blyton titles. Other than enid blyton, Eileen soper, a talented illustrator was also honoured for bringing to life in pictorial form enid blyton's characters

What an unlikely delight. Directed by slightly eccentric (in a good way) proprietors we, two 50+ adults, did have some trouble finding the secret door to the start of the trail, holding up some eager kids behind us. Fortunately we regained some cred' by managing to quickly identify the thief. We spent ages in the forties room, bashing away on... More

Went there when we came back from Brownsea Island. We really enjoyed the Famous Five trail they have. They also have a "Room from the Fourties" which was also very good. All round, a good place to visit.

My family stumbled upon this delightful not-quite-a-museum dedicated to all things Enid Blyton a fortnight ago, and as elder daughter ("nearly nine") is a massive Famous Five fan, decided to give it a go. At first, I thought a family ticket at £16 was a bit steep, but what a treat was in store... An exciting Five-style adventure to begin... More

Kids 7 to 12 as well as the adults had good fun on the special 70th anniversary, Famous Five themed treasure trail. Visiting 6 locations in the Poole / Swanage area - to fit in with our other plans, we managed it in 2 days, but you could spread it over a longer time to get more time at the... More

Some of the other reviews list some of the fun activities and interesting toys/artifacts. Our 4 kids aged 2-8 years were occupied and interested for nearly 3 hours and we also had fun. While small, this is at least an hours activity for any family and the passion of the staff/owners really shows through. Highly recommended.

We decided to visit this museum as we had seen it advertised and remembered Enid Blyton books from our childhood. We paid our admission fee and went into the secret tunnel to solve the "crime" that had been committed. This was fun although our 5 year old was a bit scared of the dark and loud noises. The museum provided... More

My friend and I, driven by a shared nostalgia for Enid Blyton Famous Five books, decided to give this interactive museum a try. At a couple of years off 40 we thought it might be a bit childish for us, however we felt as if we were going on a real adventure to solve an exciting mystery. The secret passage... More
