We just went for a short visit, but loved the views of the harbour. Will do the walk when we return on a warmer day!

Taking the ferry from Sandbanks to the Island made it feel special. No cars as there are no roads means it was safe to wander at will. Cake in the café was dried out, and the waitress straightened up the Victoria sponge with her bare...More

As ever a lovely relaxing walk around the island trying to spot the elusive red squirrels! Super addition of kids play area which is fantastic and allows kids to take a few risks rather than wrapping them in cotton wool!

Please remember they don't allow dogs on the island for obvious reasons. Go from sandbanks as parking is free on the roads

Overpriced. Good for a trip but when you need to pay for a ferry then there to get to the island is so expensive, that put off.

So peaceful over on the Island, just love this place . Went from sandbanks this time but the ferry does close for lunch time. Lucky there's a Haven ferry cafe over the Rd with a great choice of eat in or takeaway food and drinks.

Beautiful island with plenty to do for all the family. Walking routes planned for various abilities including borrowing pushchair and wheelchair suitable for rough terrain. Tree climbing trails, stunning scenery and a fantastic little beach tucked away. Amazing place.
