This is a large easily accessible park with mature trees, a riverside walk and bowling green. The children’s play area is modern and the cafe provides basic refreshments in a delightful setting. The park also hosts the town’s firework display on Bonfire Night.

Enjoyable walk with our dogs, beautiful autumnal colours flowing through the many large old trees around the park. We saw the squirrels scurrying up the trees and the many ducks in the pond, a park well with a visit a lovely historical part of Darlington

Hi, Yes there is a small cafe next to the bowling green at the Parkside end of the park. Unfortunately it is only open at weekends and bank holidays.
