I often wander through Thornes Park taking in the lake, and the formal gardens and occasional pitch and putt game. If you prefer bowls or tennis it is there for you too

A nice tiny park with a small lake to walk around.Has an aviary with cockatiels, budgies and golden pheasants at the other end of the lake from where you park.A nice time to visit at the moment due to all the changing colours of autumn.
