Conveniently placed near the main road and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. One downside is that there is not enough parking space. On the rainy day it’s a rather muddy walk. Bicycles wizz by as well as some people let their dogs...More

We love this place, a wonderful walk around Newmiller Dam water, any time of year and in any weather. Beautiful views and great wildlife. A 30 to 40 min walk on easy going path, suitable for all physical abilities. Looking forward to our next visit

Good place to visit & walk your dog shame you have to pay to park. Two pubs nearby so you can have a drink after a nice walk.

We have visited here many times and it never disappoints. Lovely lake, great scenery and fantastic to walk around. Flat path for a leasurely walk around the lake or, for the more energetic, there's gentle climbs up into peaceful woodland. Would recommend.

The paths around the lake are largely unmade and if wet can be boggy, make sure you wear suitable footwear. This is a pleasant walk circuiting around the lake with paths also going into surrounding woodland. There are ducks and other wildlife to spot and...More
