called in for some food, as it was highly recommended. it seemed nice. very quiet, ordered a mixed grill, and 2 pints.£14. not bad. food arrived very very quickly. a small mixed grill. tiny steak, and chicken. went to bar for another drink, waited 5 mins, no sign of bar staff, so left, very disappointing

Had an unexpected child free evening and after working late, decided to pop to The Unicorn for dinner. We were greeted warmly and a table was quickly set-up for us. We ordered drinks and the menu's were brought to us, with the specials pointed out too. After placing our order at the bar, we didn't have too long a wait... More

Was staying in the village and this pub came recommended so why not! Although we didn't eat here there were several people dining and the food looked and smelled good. Fine selection of hand pull beers as well as the usual draughts and soft drinks. Country village pub ambience and worth a visit if in the area.

After not being here for a while we thought we would try Sunday dinner. The food was ok but it was full of young teenagers swearing, with their children running all over. Was staying just down the road and went here both nights after work. Very friendly place, the food was great and the choice of beer excellent. This is not cordon bleu food, but it's traditional, plentiful, and fresh.

This pub is a five minute drive from where we live and is a quaint country pub, with four separate rooms (3 serving and one where the Sunday carvery is served from). I think it has a lovely feel to it - the way pub's used to be before the "big boys" ripped our their heart and sole!! They keep... More

We went for a meal last on Saturday and had a great time. We went for 7.30 ish as the Rugby was on, unexpectedly the pub was quiet as it was not showing on TV. As small party came soon after to eat in the dining area but we stayed in the pub . We had a real ale IPA... More
