Here at Taunton Taxi Services, we provide a professional, reliable & affordable local Taxi service in Taunton, Somerset. As well as long journeys, we offer a Airport Transfer service. We have used Taunton Taxi Services on a few occasions now and are always impressed by the prompt and polite service. Last night my elderly father was stranded at a bus-stop in Taunton in the cold. I called Taunton Taxi Services and they dispatched a driver immediately. Unfortunately, in the meantime my father got on a different bus and the taxi trip was made in vain. Both the call-operator and the driver were understanding and sympathetic - thank you!

With the app it's easy to pre-book trips and set the time and place. The approximate cost shown on the app was about £1 less than the actual charge. You get sent texts when the driver is coming, with the registration number, colour and make of the car, then there is another text when the driver has arrived. Convenient to use, I would recommend.

Great experience. Booked two taxis between Taunton Station and Bridgewater.
Really nice drivers James and Doug, as a single female traveller I felt really comfortable.
I was kept well informed via text message about the arrival time and registration number of my taxi.

Had taxi booked for a trip only to be canceled by a company followed by phone call informing that the quote for our trip had doubled due to being bank Holiday Monday. Short notice for that especially that BH Monday has been announced over a week ago.

If I could leave a 0, I would.
My partner booked a taxi home from work due to an injury preventing her from driving at around half past 8 tonight (A midnight finish). All was said to be OK until 00:07 when she received a phone call saying they had double booked and had to cancel. Meaning she had to walk home instead.

Very rude male staff member and not disabled friendly!!
Male member of staff played the hold music as I was explaining that I couldn't use my legs at ALL and limited mobility down my left arm side and my need for a wheelchair driver then hung up on me, But before this he said if you can transfer yourself we can take you!!!! 'hold on mate I just told you i can't feel my legs AT ALL...'but let me balance all my weight on my right arm, fold up the wheelchair and then get in the car. Thanks for being a disgusting and unemphatic human! clap clap!

The Taxi arrived on-time, was clean and very courteous. We used the taxi (8 people) to go from Taunton to Wiveliscombe, with a return. We also had a small dog which was not an issue. The company, vehicles and drivers were fantastic. THANK YOU.

Amazing service, Andy was on time and super pleasant, app was super easy to book via. Will defo be my goto taxi service in Taunton.
in addition, left my keys in the cab, Andy dropped them round to my house later in the evening, can not recommend enough.

Terrible and horrible experience. Booked several rides via app only to be cancelled without a reason after being accepted. When interacted with receptionist she was blunt and rude all the way through… got a call back from management and they kept going down on me and shouting down making me fell horrible, disrespect and with no rights to a good service as a customer who has used the service before. Will never recommend this service to anyone. Please consider other businesses.

Tried to book taxi tomorrow morning at 7.30 to get to Taunton station. Was told no taxis available due to all on school runs. I have a disability and need to reach station before 8.30. So much for public service. Taxi only available after 10.30.
