We visited the Museum also we were surprised with the beautiful images also everything inside. Other thing that we really appreciated, it was our journey inside without any staff members been around us like these happened constantly in London Museum. We indicated the museum to our family and friends. Visit it!!!

I really love this museum which takes you through the history of Somerset in a time linear fashion, or you can skip to what you're interested in. Good exhibits. Special exhibits seem always interesting (tho I felt publicity featuring the Exon Domesday page with the spear print was misleading as it wasn't actually on show). Love the focus on words... More

Great place to visit for all ages and since it's refurbishment it looks really great inside. It is free to visit just a voluntary contribution is requested. So if your stuck for something to do for a couple hours it is well worth a visit..oh nice coffee shop too.

We visit the Museum regularly with different sets of grandchildren and are never disappointed. There always seems to be something new and they always make an effort at school holidays. This half term their was a trail to follow and win a small prize. The children always enjoy the dressing up in uniforms. The cafe is always good and reasonably... More

The open doors and free entry make this a great place to visit and go away the wiser! Nice cafe and spacious layout with some interesting corners of local history.

As we live locally, we visit regularly. There is a wealth of local history plus regular special events. Visiting in a single visit needs a good 2 hours to see most things but if short of time, or planning re-visits, half an hour will just fly by. There is also an excellent little café selling good snacks & drinks, with... More

If I'm honest I didn't expect much from the museum but needed to fill time on a rainy day. I'd forgotten that museum's were free (always a bonus) and was absolutely blown away with the whole set-up. For youngsters it is interactive and with several options in dressing up at the same time providing really interesting information at an adult... More
