Came here one afternoon with my wife. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The history of the mill is really good and there is a lot on show. Even walking around the garden shows quite a bit. A good place to visit if this is your type of thing.

We are delighted that you found us and enjoyed the visit...we have a lot of history as the mill is on a Domesday site! We are not experts on museums or history but we do our best to research each display that we do.

We found the mill almost by chance and were so pleased we did. It is full of interesting facts and artefacts- we could have spent much longer there. It is well put together and the exhibits are great. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There is a nice tea room at the back. The mill donates its profits to five local charities. I recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

Thank you for both your visit and your comments...we do try to make the place interesting but we, like you, have to thank our volunteers for the way they treat and speak to our visitors.....it is so important that everyone feels welcome. Today the weather was a bit against wanting to visit our attraction but people still came and found that it was a good place to come (we are quite a compact area) even when raining!
