There are many gates into the park and several have car parking facilities. Once in the park it is possible to walk on tarmacked roads, clear pathways or across "open country". However, there are some restrictions - a couple of golf courses, a number of streams and several areas of marshy ground. There are cafes, restaurants and two pubs providing refreshments.

Sutton Park is a wonderful open air resource. We visited in the midst of Covd. It is possible to by refreshments but there is no seating indoor of outdoor with the exception of the odd park bench. We walked, the walking is varied and really beautiful. There are no public toilets available so we won't visit again until they are open.

I've explored every corner of this place over the years and on a quiet non bank holiday it is just wonderful. So many great varied areas and landscapes. Pools, ponds, streams, wildlife, the wandering cows and ponies, woods, moorland, paths, trails, pubs, cafes, and you still feel like there's more to find. I could never get tired of this place. Rain, wind or shine it is an amazing place and we're lucky to have it.

First return visit since lockdown was eased. Lots of paths to walk on as you wend your way around this vast park. Plenty of opportunity to socially distance because of the layout of the roads, paths and wide open grassland areas. Outside seating available at the Bistro cafe. Seating can require a wait because of the popularity of this venue. Car parking available throughout the park. Choice of gates to enter with varying vistas to enjoy. A great place to stretch your legs in these challenging times.

Didn't understand the previous reviews as I didn't see any animals apart from a duck. Visitors centre was closed. There no signage whatsoever. It is a massive park. There are growing boats to go on but that was closed on such a nice day. The cafe is nice with nice food and drinks. Theres was nothing worth seeing in this reserve apart from long walking .
