A morning break to walk through the park. Popped in the Visitors Centre for a couple of hot drinks before continuing walk. Prompt, pleasant service. Good drinks [tea] and mention made of the environmentally friendly materials used in the containers.

It’s amazing and well visited. If you like nature this is for you! There is small coffee shop and car park. Remember to have money as you can’t pay with card. Great for any time of the year.

Unless you’re a local don’t bother it’s just a nice park that’s got smaller over the last 30 years due to modern housing developments. Not close to shops or anything really except the general hospital. Things to do are really ‘walk the dogs’.

So many different paths. Magnificent trees and if you're quick enough, look out for the occasional Deer!

Certainly - there are two excellent play areas that cater for younger and the more adventurous opposite the path from each other just down from the visitor centre.
