Odell Park is lovely for walks, it's a beautiful place, but the cafe leaves a lot to be desired. It's in a nice position but the food is mediocre at best, and the customer service is dreadful. They expect you to wait over half an...More

OK circular walk round a a small lake. Not that much parking space. Small wood adjoining, and lots of space to spread out. Take a plastic sheet as there were a few dogs being walked when we were about. The cafe is also dog friendly,...More

We have been visiting the park for many years. Whilst the park itself is a great walk, the cafe has been the victim of a greedy council. That greed has had a serious knock-on for the customer. Since Tea-Zels lost the franchise in 2016, the...More

We had not been to walk around the country park for a long time. So we took a picnic and walked all round the lake. We had a really relaxing afternoon at very little cost and a really enjoyable afternoon

Whilst out cycling, a friend and I stopped off for a drink. It was beautiful sitting in this peaceful place outside the cafe. Definitely somewhere that I will return to when in the area.

Harrold Country Park is always beautiful no matter what time of year you visit. Various options on walks around lakes, whether it be the big circular walk or via the field for a longer walk. Various carvings to admire along the route, seating and fishing...More

This country park is very nicely arranged around a lake and is mainly shaded along its walks. Lots of seating areas to look and take pictures. Good for dog walkers too. Nice cafe to finish off with too. Absolutely delightful

I've not seen any Kingfishers there but I have seen one at Mill Meadow in Bedford - that's the bit of the Great Ouse behind Cardington Road east of The Park Hotel.

Simple answer, no, AFAIK they lock the barrier at the road entrance to stop "travellers" setting up camp.

I have seen powered scooters regularly in the park. The paths around the lake are not laid to cement, but paths are there. There may be a bit of vibration . It i a lovely place to go .

I have no idea either but they seem very accommodating and I have also seen people with a camping stove but near the water.
