Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are records of a church on this site in Anglo-Saxon times although the present building although essentially medieval has Victorian accretions. It was, however, during the Second World War, when the BBC moved most of its operations to Bedford, that Trinity Chapel achieved international prominence as the venue for services broadcast around the war. Today as the Civic Church for the Borough of Bedford and the County of Bedfordshire it is a focus for special commemorations and celebrations. There are regular concerts on Tuesday lunchtimes as well as recitals on the organ which was refurbished as recently as 2010. I was impressed by some contemporary paintings almost abstract in feel commemorating the stations of the Cross.

St Paul's Church is in the centre of Bedford town centre. It is next to the site of the market and as a result is in the background a bit when this is on.
It is a beautiful old church however they are currently fundraising to maintain it.
They have services as you would expect and on Tuesdays they have concerts which are free to attend.
It is good that they are active in the community and doing things for local people.

Aside from the Church itself - welcoming, friendly and in such a lovely location near the river and virtually in the centre of town - the free Tuesday lunchtime classical music concerts (with a suggested donation to only cover musician travel and a charitable contribution) are an absolute dream. If you live in, or near, Bedford and for some inexplicable reason you haven’t been, then you must go! If you’re visiting Bedford on a Tuesday then don’t miss it. This is unbelievably excellent performance, a thoroughly fulfilling 50 minutes (from 1.10 - 2pm) and an absolute privilege to attend. Do not miss out...I have lived in Bedford for two months, attended two so far and will certainly be at these in future. Well done to all concerned.

Bedford’s grandest and formerly medieval church presents very ornate and beautiful features throughout. The nave, chancel and intricately designed pulpit are all examples of this. Pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a brief chat with a volunteer who gave me advise about what to see in Bedford town. Very accommodating and informative.

This church has a very old and rich history. The inside of the church has an old feel to it but it is stunning, it looks even bigger from inside. The Church is beautifully decorated and the local priest is a very nice person. I am Christian but i must say, it's an amazing place.

are and In the heart of busy Bedford is a haven of peace. Architecturally it is magnificent with history oozing out of every stone and window, but it is the high level of worship that makes it so special too. Friendly clergy and staff, never be afraid of being hi-jacked, all you get is a wonderful welcome and the chance to find out who you and and why your Creator made you.

We went for chriscringle and loved it . Saint Paul's is like the Cathedrol of Bedford because Bedford doesn't have oe and the nearest is St Albans or Watford. Its worth the visit and they keep the doors open during the day when there is no event on or special service for visitors to go and look.

Driving through the heart of Bedford, its hard to miss the mass of Saint Paul's Church, just over the bridge.
Dominates the local buildings.
Nice spot for a picnic outside.

I like to visit old churches and with this being very close to the hotel, I spent an hour or two looking around. An excellent choice as there are some interesting things to see. Very good.
