Craig was the consummate professional guide throughout this tour, his knowledge of the area is second to none and his passion for the local wildlife is contagious. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone with a love of wildlife, or even the scottish landscape. Being January and very cold the wildlife were rather shy for this tour, although still seen 3 x type of deer a stunningly beautiful Golden Eagle for around 5 minutes as well as Red Grouse and Red legged Partridge. We will definitely take on this tour again at a different time of year.…

We had a lovely few hours with Craig in beautiful Deeside which was resplendent with autumn colours. We saw three species of deer and both red and black grouse all of which we wouldn’t have spotted without our guide. He is very knowledgeable and good company and I would recommend this tour. We didn’t see red squirrel during our tour but spotted them at Balmoral - as recommended by Craig.…

Craig picked us up & dropped us off at our accommodation. He is clearly passionate about conservation & has an in-depth knowledge of Royal Deeside , wildlife and bird species. He has an amazing gift for spotting wildlife and birds that we would have had no chance of seeing without him. We were lucky as the weather was glorious so made it a very pleasant safari . Craig provided us with good quality binoculars and stopped frequently to point out places of interest and wildlife . He also had a very impressive telescope which again he set up frequently so we could view in great detail some of the wildlife and birds. I’m not a bird spotter and lost count of the different species we saw during our trip . We’d done a 3 hour Balmoral tour the day before and both safaris offered something different . If we come to the area again I’m sure we’d book a different safari with Craig. …

Craig took us out in his comfortable Land Rover, and we saw lots of wildlife we would not have seen otherwise, sometimes using his telescopes to home in on birds such as Ospreys or red deer on a distant hilltop ridge. We went out for 4 hours early morning but were treated to 5h40m without extra charge, including a stop for hot chocolate. Craig knows his wildlife but also knows so much more about the area and who lives here (Balmoral Estate for example), he’s interesting and the whole experience was excellent. We were very lucky with the weather which helped of course but recommend the tours wholeheartedly. …

What a great start to our holiday, fantastic tour with Craig he has time to do what you want to do and see what you want to see. Nothing was to much trouble and the hot chocolate was really very much apricated by us all. 5 in our group including an 88 year old, really great experience a real must do event if you are in the area. Good value for money too…
