Visited Larks gallery yesterday and was impressed with the large range of original Scottish art including paintings , multi media, glassware, jewellery and ceramics . A must for anyone visiting the region… Demonstrating the talent of Scottish artisans .

There were really lovely and colourful paintings in this gallery. The owner was very nice. I know if we'd been in the area longer, I'd have had to go back and buy!

Visited this when in Ballater. Lovely gallery and very friendly. Didn't buy anything but was still happy I visited.

Larks presents an interesting collection of eclectic artists – painters, potters, sculptors and if you're not prepared to make a large purchase there's something smaller that will easily fit your pocket book and luggage on the return home.

Have know Larks Gallery for many years, and made many purchases. Annie, the original owner, has now left and is in the hands of a new owner. The gallery still has a very eclectic mix of art, affordable prices, and worth a look in

This is a lovely bright contemporary gallery in Ballater with a friendly welcome by the owner. There is a wide range of crafts, sculpture, jewellery and an excellent variety of fine art. .

Lots of local art and informative staff. However, watch out for opening times as not always open whist we were there

Whether you're looking for a painting, interesting ceramics or maybe a piece of jewellery, there is always something to catch the eye.
Pip, the owner, is happy to let you browse or offer her help if you are looking for something in particular. Some of her own work is also available - very beautiful glass beads - made into contemporary jewellery.
Larks is definitely worth visiting if you're in Ballater and has something for everyone and every budget.

I always seem to find something to admire or purchase here - a great selection of items of varying prices. Always something different to catch the eye. Wish I'd a big house to house the Ceramic hare! Pip's glass beads are appealing.
Pip the owner is lovely - happy to chat or leave you in peace to browse but always on hand to advise.
Nice to have an attraction at this nd of teh village - well worth a visit.
