Dear Campus West management

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the abysmal parking ticket purchasing experience at the new car park associated with Campus West. The sheer incompetence and inefficiency of the system not only wasted our time but also jeopardized our plans to attend a show.

Attempting to buy a parking ticket was an exercise in frustration as the system proved to be pathetically slow and shockingly difficult to navigate. The connection was so sluggish that it repeatedly dropped out, preventing us from completing the transaction. This glitch-ridden process not only tested our patience but also made it impossible for us, along with a sizable queue of equally frustrated individuals, to secure our parking spaces in a timely manner.

Despite arriving well in advance to ensure a seamless parking experience and make our way to the show, the night took a disastrous turn. The interminable wait caused by the malfunctioning ticket machine resulted in a delay of 20 minutes, causing us to miss a significant portion of the performance.

This level of service is not only unacceptable but also reflects poorly on the reputation of your establishment. Such a fundamental flaw in the parking ticket system is inexcusable and should be addressed urgently to prevent further inconveniences for visitors.

I implore you to take immediate action to rectify this issue and implement a more reliable and efficient parking ticket purchase system. Visitors should not have to endure such a frustrating experience, especially when they are trying to enjoy an event at your venue.

I trust that you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and make the necessary improvements to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Sincerely,
Robb Barrett

The place was empty (not surprised why) I ordered a toastie and a tea. I went up to pour milk into my tiny tea, buy it was empty, so I had to ask and wait for some. Then after 20 mins of waiting for my toastie I went up and asked where it was, as I was on an hour lunch break, only to discover the man hadn't even placed the order and only then rang the kitchen to put it in! He told me it would take 2 more mins...10 mins later I go up again and am told to carry on waiting! Finally, I see 2 waitors walking around trying to find my table, even though I had an order number card and had told them where I was sitting! They didn't even apologise for the delay or thank me for my patience! After all that the toastie was cold and I had spent nearly £10! Disgusting service, will never be going back again!

A gem of a place, very local to us. quite a lot under 1 roof and one of our Son's favorite go to places. Very affordable, friendly staff, softly area, roller skating, cinema and coffee lounge, plenty to spend a family afternoon.

Very funny and entertaining evening. Lots of audience involvement with a talented cast that brought a cheeky alternative to the family panto. You could see the cast were having fun, ad-libbing as they went along! All cast were great, the interaction between 'Jim and his mum' was hilarious. Well done Jim on the 50 pressups!!!
Shout out to the staff at Campus West too, you were excellent!
See you all again this time next year!

As part of Cinema Day I decided to visit Campus West to see a movie. It's not the closest cinema to me but I thought I would try something different and had a great experience.

I did not realise that the car park next to Campus West is closed to the nearest car park is on Campus East and is a couple of minutes walk. There are a couple of disabled parking spaces still available next to the venue.

I booked my ticket online and showed it to the gentleman on the reception and after a quick glance he directed me to the cinema.

It's not very big but that (in my opinion) is part of its charm.

The seats were comfortable and I enjoyed the film.

Will definitely return.

My return to the cinema, what with one thing and another.
It was a day time and quite quiet.
Noone was wearing masks in the cafe area - except us.
It remains a cosy venue, and one that should be cherished locally. You can eat, drink, socialise and relax in a laid back environment complete with fish tanks.

Admission price for a film is about 25% cheaper than Cineworld and for that you get a clean auditorium and approachable friendly people working there.

Minor down side is that the car park is now pay and display rather than the previous automatic pay as you go. This means you have to guess how long you will be in there for in advance - meaning I will always over estimate and pay over the odds - nice extra profit there for someone. (Other cinema car parks locally are a mix of free and pay and display - but generally higher ticket prices / terrible picture / antisocial behaviour / expensive snacks and sweets, etc)

The film quality was good for both sound and vision. Perhaps the screen could be a little bigger but it was fine.

Campus West is a true gem - with 3 excellent cinema screens, a fantastic soft play, large roller rink and a really lovely cafe (with very comfy seating and lovely balcony for summer months), it’s really worth a visit. I have been really impressed with how they have implemented COVID secure measures. The staff are great, always kind and welcoming and the whole venue has a lovely vibe. Highly recommend a visit either to use one of the great leisure facilities or just to sit in the cafe for a warm drink.

Great to be back at Campus and to see the Harry Potter films; 1-4 so far with 5-8 to watch next week!
I have been extremely impressed with all the staff and I felt very safe with all the Covid measures that have been put in place; plenty of signs, handgel and constant cleaning. Campus has had a refurb during lockdown and looks amazing and welcoming. Snacks available in Humphreys cafe, which is also participating in the Dine Out scheme so I enjoyed a nice toastie for £2!
I would highly recommend visiting Campus West, it's a great place and if you get a Zebra card ( which is free) you will get discounts too! Really hope it's not too long before it can fully re-open, but in the meantime I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of old favourites at the cinema.

Hi Barbara, we're really happy to hear just how safe and comfortable you feel with our 'new normal' set-up, and also, how much you've been enjoying our big screens all over again. The response to our Harry Potter Season has been incredibly rewarding - an opportunity that we never thought we would experience again. Your support, especially during times like these, means a lot to us, so thank you for being part of the magic! Best Wishes, CW
