It is clear that Maggie who runs Peak Hill Llamas LOVES what she does and really cares about her llamas. I booked a half day experience for my girlfriend for he 28th Birthday.

We both have a fantastic time. We fed, groomed and walked the Llamas. Maggie's passion for what she does is clear, and she was professional, friendly and taught us both everything we wanted to know.

The Llama's are treated incredibly well and it's heartwarming to see them so well looked after. Not only this but Maggie clearly runs Peak Hill Llamas because she loves what she does and to make millions. As an animal lover it was just a great trip and my girlfriend and I would highly recommend it.

If there is one thing that you do whilst in the Sidmouth area, do this!! Maggie is absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable about llamas. She introduced us to Harry and Eric, showed us how to handle them and led us on a walk with them through the beautiful Devon countryside. The llamas were extremely gentle and walked at a very sedate pace (perfect for me!) - the whole experience with the animals and the setting was very calming and good for the soul. After feeding some treats to the llamas, we then enjoyed tea and delicious cakes whilst sat in the gazebo looking out over the llama paddock. It was a perfect afternoon!

we had a brilliant morning. we arrived early and met Maggie who made us welcome from the start .we were introduced to all the llamas and met Eric and Golly who we would be taking out.
the walk was leisurely and was at the llamas pace . Eric and Golly made our experience a wonderful day and they do like posing for photos . we opted to take our cream teas away and enjoyed them later.
thanks to Maggie and Paul for a wonderful experience and information we learned alot about these wonderful animals and we would fully recommend a visit. I am sure we will return again .

We are a family of 4 with two children aged 11 and 13 who were lucky enough to spend the morning with Maggie and her gorgeous llamas. Maggie, we can't thank you enough for making our morning ( and some of the afternoon) our favourite time during our holiday in Devon. We loved getting to know you and your llamas. It was so much more than we expected and we all felt it was such a special experience. We loved feeding and grooming the llamas and then walking them aswell as having a go at the agility course. We absolutely loved the delicious pastries and tea you gave us too. For anyone thinking of doing this, we would all highly recommend it as Maggie is one of the nicest and kindest people we have ever met and its really lovely to go to somewhere like this where you can see how much the llamas actually love Maggie and its not about making money. It was fun, informative and very enjoyable 🥰

We had a great afternoon learning about these lovely animals, getting to know them and thoroughly enjoying our time with these gentle, funny characters. My 15 year old son, 12 year old daughter and I spent time with the very splendid Golly, slightly dim but totally lovable Eric and naughty, cuddly Harry the hooligan, grooming, trying out llama agility (causing much laughter) and then taking them for a walk in the beautiful countryside. Then we had much needed tea and cakes in the llama barn. Maggie obviously adores her llamas and her enthusiasm is infectious. We couldn't have enjoyed it more and can't wait to do it again.

Would 100% recommend this to anyone in the Sidmouth area. Maggie is excellent and so knowledgable about the llamas - definitely will be revisiting in the future. She made us feel comfortable on our walk and has been the highlight of our week in Devon. We took Guy and Golly on a walk and they were so gentle, with unique characters of their own! (Golly loves a selfie) The views around the area are breathtaking and the llamas were very much at ease, with Guy leading us on his own trail! Overall a perfect experience for those in need of relaxation and llama cuddles!

My partner booked this as a surprise birthday trip. He said the communication with Maggie before our visit was efficient and helpful.
Maggie knew it was my birthday and even decorated the cabin and gave Eric, the llama, a birthday bow. She was so welcoming, she gave us a tour of the farm and went through some llama facts and safety with us. You could tell Maggie really cared about her llamas and giving us the best experience possible.
We were introduced to the llamas, told all about their different personalities and how some of them visit care homes. We got involved with some llama clicker training, agility and a gentle walk. Maggie was also more than happy to take plenty of photos and made an effort to find nice scenery for the backgrounds.
We had the best experience and cannot thank Maggie enough for making it a special birthday. We will definitely be back again.

We went on a morning walk with the llamas Harry and Ollie earlier today and had the most amazing time.
Maggie, the host, is the loveliest lady you'll ever meet, she is very passionate about the llamas and has some fantastic stories to tell.

We have not smiled so much in a long time!!

Thank you Maggie, Harry & Ollie.
