    Great puzzle room
Tried out the new puzzle room today, wasn't sure what to expect, but really enjoyed it.There were very friendly staff who gave you a brief introduction. The room looked quite small snd basic when you entered but I was pleasantly surprised at how well thought out and enjoyable it was. You have 45 minutes to try and solve 30 puzzles, lots of variety from a few physical tasks, riddles to solve, keys to find and varied other puzzles to crack, all to find codes you enter to light the board green. We were a family group of all ages grandparents, parents and kids 10-14 and there was something for everyone's skill level so everyone joined in and felt they contributed. It takes a few minutes to figure out where to start but as you get the hang of it, it was fab. I would really recommend great day out. The site also has lots of other fun activities to do and a cafe, this place was a great little find.

    Overall a positive experience!
North Yorkshire water park, what can you say. The facilities at the park are exceptional, staff are polite and friendly and there is loads todo. We camped at the park site itself, 3 adults and 3 under 7 kids. The family field is excellent to allow them to run around and play safely. Unfortunately there was a large group on the other field, but this was dealt with by the staff on site. The camp facilities however are not sufficient for the two fields. One block, 4 showers, toilets and sinks. The hot water kept running out and the staff were unable to kept them sufficiently clean. This was the only thing that let the site down. We also had two craft booked on the lake, a session on the warrior(exhausting) and the zip lines. Still loads more to explore or do. It’s somewhere we would return to, however there needs to be some more thought into perhaps putting a second toilet block on the field currently without one.

Great place but camping not so great
Great place the staff are absolutely brilliant .Special thanks to Harry for his expert tuition wakeboarding what a great guy . We stayed on the camping field there was an initial mix up with pitches ( thank you Jake for sorting us a splitter out ) the site was very busy and the toilets were not always clean or any toilet rolls . The smell in the toilet area was very drainy not nice on a warm day .I feel the camping area lets the waterpark down and maybe needs a little bit more attention paid to it maybe someone onhand to welcome arrivals and show them where to pitch and please clean the toilets

    Poor water park cafe
The water park is brilliant, great fun on the inflatables, my family really enjoyed themselves. Unfortunately the cafe is so disorganised and run by children. My bacon sandwich had hardly any bacon in it, and the children’s sausage and egg sandwich had no egg. We waiting ages for our coffees and when they arrived they weren’t what we paid for. Eventually they corrected the sausage sandwiches but again waited ages and then they were returned to the table next to us.

Decent lunch and a great activity setup.
Visited with friends who’d visited a number of times. We didn’t know this place existed and the set up with SUP, the aqua park, wake boarding and the rest looked great, although we’d only gone for lunch and a catch up. The cafe was incredibly busy as we’d gone on a Sunday but we found seats inside after a short while. Jacket potatoes were fine for lunch and reasonable prices. Whilst we were there, we sent a video of the water park back home and it appears that a return visit is in order for those who are young at heart to have a go on a big wet bouncy castle. First visit won’t be the last.

    Great visit-will return.
First visit with grand children who wanted to "wake board " both were slightly nervous but welcomed and made to feel at ease by the friendly instructor. He went through the safety procedures and was encouraging throughout the session. They both went onto to other activities in the park which is managed professionally by young staff. Will return.

A day at North Yorkshire Water Park
Absolutely cracking day with the family NY water park, fantastic facility😊 Wonderful staff who were very helpful rafter we arrived late due to traffic, the park is in supreme condition and is kept really clean. We zipped lined, had some great fun on the Warrior and Wakeboarded. Must say wakeboarding was the highlight for me and the kids. Harry our instructor delivered the info excellently so we could have a fantastic experience on the water. BIG Thanks to Harry from the Jude’s. Would recommend this place to all families looking for a fab energetic day out. Thanks all🙏🏻

    Good place to paddle
We went to try out our new paddle board (we've both done it before- and just got a board ourselves) in a safe environment. £15 for the afternoon (you must supply your own bouyancy aid, and they won't hire wetsuits for use with private kit (you can if hiring something or taking part in an activity)) Attentive lifeguards on duty (I raised concerns I had about two boarders who seemed to be struggling and they were allready alware and we're about to go check on them (I saw them towing them back round (the wind was quite strong and had blown then out of sight around the top of the lake)) later)). They were also nice enough to lete saily RC yacht (they have a specific area set up and it appears often host event's) Also quite nice to just take a walk around the lake (2.5km)

We live locally, so often visit to walk round the lakes, watch the watersport activities. And have a coffee and a snack in the cafe.
Today, we went to sample the Festive Afternoon Tea, and what a lovely time we had! We sat overlooking the lake and had a real feast! There was a variety of freshly made sandwiches, mini yorkshire puddings with delicious fillings, pigs in blankets, toasties, melt in the mouth scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam and a good selection of cakes including a mini cheesecake and mini mince pie! All washed down with unlimited tea or coffee and an after dinner mint chocolate!
The staff, as always, were friendly and efficient. We had a very enjoyable time and highly recommend a visit even if you don't want to participate in the watersports!! Lovely location and great facilities.

Fantastic experience from start to finish.
Well laid out - plenty of parking , great facilities, staff extremely knowledgeable and made you feel at ease - even first timers - special thanks to Abbey and Tony on the Zip.
Cafe offered good value home cooked food and plenty of areas for spectators to sit and watch .
Would highly recommend for friends, family and kids birthday celebrations.
Looking forward to coming back with our camper 😀

We had a great day out here and would definitely come back. We all did the zip wire and then booked to do the wipe out inflatables which was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pizzas were lovely! Can't wait to come back and try the warrior inflatables!

I'd only recently learnt of the park and with glorious weather I booked to go and what I thought was just an experience turned into a great day. The staff couldn't do enough to help, the safety briefings were clear and precise. There's so much to do if you want the best experience you'd be better booking it online.

During the activities you can wander around and watch people doing the activities. There are ample toilet's and changing rooms around the park. You can make it as exciting as you want with activities to suit all ages, for pet lovers there's even a small doggie pond for them to splash around in.

The cafe was good value and the food freshly cooked with minimum waiting times. If you choose you can take your own picnic to make a full thorough day of it.

The waterpark is definitely one of Yorkshire's gems.

Visited here with my 3 children ages 15,13 and 11. Them and myself went on the warrior course and it was brilliant and the time went far too quickly. One thing that was a shame was that it was covered in bird poo all over the course, we were the first session on at 1030 and i would have thought it would have been checked and should have been cleaned beforehand. This is the only reason for not giving 5 stars as the course itself was great fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the big and I mean big drops and slides. My two sons then went on to do Wakeboarding, the instructor Harry was really good at his job, giving really good advice to the boys and being patient whilst they got to grips with it. All other staff we encountered were all equally as lovely too. The facilities are great too, lovely hot showers, clean toilets and changing facilities, lovely cafe which I thought was reasonably priced. All in all we had a great few hours out at Yorkshire Water Park.
