went on one of the hottest days of the year, the animals were fabulous, the play areas amazing for the kiddos.
Feeding the animals was fun for kiddos and adults alike.
Had a quick lunch in the cafe which served really good and tasty food. The kiddos shared two pieces of cake which at nearly £4 was a little steep to be honest.
The price was expensive but we did enjoy the day and realise that the gorgeous animals do need to be fed and looked after well.
We were one of the last families to leave but we will return at some point in the future.

Firstly I don’t think this place is advertised enough. We found out about it by accident. We’ve been visiting the area on holiday for a couple of years now and have never heard of it before.
The park aspect was Brilliant two parks for children to play on, as well as a large indoor soft play area. With a toddle area and an older child area, and ride on tractors which are great.
There are peddle carts, outdoor frisbee area, a zip line and a slide which you go down on a cart ( my son loved this) They have a large sand pit area to.
There’s a large inside hay bale climbing room to which was really good I’ve never seen something like this at a farm park before.
However the farm side for us was a little bit disappointing. The farm has lots of sheep , chickens and goats and birds ( different varieties) but apart from that it was quite lacking. Would be nice to maybe have some cows and horses. A larger variety would be better. However I would say the animals looked well looked after and there was lots of educational text around for the children.
The cafe on site is really really expensive and not much variety and the lady’s serving us were quiet unfriendly, once of them pulled a face when I asked for a spoon for my three year old. They could be more friendly.
Overall a good day out. We spent four hours here but I think for the price they charge it could do with some tweaking to make this place great.

What a lovely day out!

We came with my 14 month old toddler because he loves animals, we were really pleasantly surprised with how much there was to do.

The play areas are great and well maintained, with something suitable for all ages.

The animals are well kept and very friendly, with plenty of opportunities to pet and feed.

The staff were all pleasant and everywhere is clean and tidy.

We were also expecting a limited food menu for lunch but again were very pleasantly surprised. I had the best jacket potato I think I’ve ever had! Plenty to pick from and a good children’s selection too.

We spent just over 3 hours here and we would have spent more time if little one was a bit older.

Always a lovely day out here. Been a few times over the last couple of years and its great. Just a quick heads up to the owners if they read these - you need to sort out some more staff for food/drink. The café is very slow service and there should be a separate queue just for drinks. Also the last couple of times we've visited, the little drink/snack kiosk near the indoor play centre has been closed. Its a little thing, but it really makes a difference. if you don't have the staff, maybe have a couple of vending machines for hot and cold drinks snacks. Thanks

We visited here whilst staying around here for a few days. It was fab. Our little boy loved it so much. It’s not the cheapest but there is loads to do here. Soft play, outdoor play area, Play barn (which my little boy absolutely loved) go carts which us parents loved 😂😂 and then all the rest outside. Then the animal part which was great too. Some of the goats were hilarious. Lots of fun! We ate in the cafe also and our little boy got all his favourite foods in the kids box. It was perfect! Fantastic day out!!

Came here for day as recommended by another guest where we were staying. Our 6 year old grandson had absolutely brilliant time. Up close to sheep, goats, alpacas, donkeys. Can feed some of them. Obviously have to buy bag of food at entrance (£2) Also lots of smaller animals to see. Guinea pigs, rabbits, chipmunks, birds. Highlight for him was the summer sledges!! Never seen them before. Amazing little ride. Go karts available too. Would suggest some maintenance required on them though. Some seats bit wobbly!! Huge indoor soft play area inside barn. Not supervised though so can get bigger kids on there going bit mad at times. Bring a picnic. Lots of seating areas
We all had a very nice day out

Just held our daughters 6th birthday here. From start to finish the staff were brilliant, everyone we met was so helpful and friendly. They took care of everything - I just turned up with a cake! Each invite covered one child, one adult, a bag of animal feed, a whole day at the park and lunch. This was great value for money as there is just so much to do. The kids had an absolute blast, I would highly recommend for parties.

This place is a little gem. On holiday this way and went for the day. There was lots to do. The animals were sociable and friendly in the barns which makes a great experience for the kids. Thumper the goat was a real hit along with holding chicks and guinea pigs. Staff great. Place was clean tidy and very well maintained. We have a few like this our way which are dirty and run down, this was so well kept. Parks were lovely and brilliant inside play area. Loved the hay stack playbarn and the summer sledge (toboggan ride) was brilliant. So reasonably priced too. Food in cafe was lovely and the scones were amazing. Would highly recommend this place. Kids didn't want to leave

I came alot with my nephew before he turned two and we loved it!

I wish there was a season pass or reduced rates for locals. For the price it's more of a big day out now rather than something you can go to often.

Visited the first week of the school holidays and expected it to be really busy but it wasn't!

Had another great day. Kept two kids busy for 6 hours. Just wish we could go more often!

Absolutely fabulous day out! Amazing place, so much to see and do. Very friendly owner and staff members. Food served in the cafe was really nice with plenty of choice too! (Lovely picnic area if you choose to take your own) The animals looked very happy and very well cared for. The outdoor go karts were fun for the adults and the children and there is a great game of frizby golf to be had if you are up for the challenge. My favourite, the donkeys loved having their ears scratched and the goats were very chatty too! The large indoor soft play /sand pit/ straw bail barn kept my granddaughter busy for a few hours and the outdoor play parks (2) , zip line and summer sledging were great fun. We had just the best day and can’t wait to visit again. Great value for money (even the little gift shop was realistically priced which was very welcomed) Highly recommend a visit . Thank you Playdale Farm Park for an amazing experience ❤️
