We had never seen this place before and on the last night of our holiday one of our fave artists was playing, the venue itself is great, the seats are tiered enough so wherever you sit you get a good view, we were lucky and got seats right in the middle, Will was of course great even if he didn't... First time I have visited the venue and not what I expected. Set in lovely green ground, the stage is set back a long way from the crowd and is separated by some dirty looking water. The seats represent an athletics stadium feel and with no shelter if it rains you get soaked. Food choices average, beer ok priced at... More

Recently saw Will Young in concert at the SOAT. Parking - good, Facilities - good, Venue itself - poor. There is plenty of signage as you get close to the SOAT - for both the venue and parking which is of great help. There are two car parks across the road from the entrance/information kiosk which are free after 6pm.... More

all the staff and catering facilities were very good but the physical presentation of the venue is so out of date and due to the ridiculous lake dividing the stage from the audience made it seem so remote, the camera for the big screens seemed to focus on everything except the main performer,Will Young was brilliant but the venue was... Been to many concerts and not been disappointed. We try to sit mid way up to get the best view. It's the largest open air theatre in Europe. It comes with all the amenities ie drinks and toilets. It's also just nxt to the sea front on the north side so you can go for a walk along the seafront

We love this venue, we've been many times to many concerts.. Having just seen the last review I felt compelled to place a review myself. May I say that the 4th row back is actually too close, further back is better and higher. The person clearly requires new glasses to a strength that clearly doesn't even exist. Can't wait for... This is a great place to see a concert Obviously is the weather is good But been to a few when it's rained and quite miserable then. When we went they ran out of beer and closed the bar!! Which didn't go down to well at a happy Monday's concert.😂😂😂

Paid our second visit here last month, with a return trip for the Legends of Pop event. The theatre is set in a beautiful park, with the stage set back behind a lake. The seating can get a little steep towards the top. There's plenty of toilets available and the queues weren't too long the bars or food.

Yes the open air theatre looks good but you need to sort the entrance out. Where the ride was from the entrance it stinks of stale wee and needs a general tidy
