Still a great park space in Scarborough.
Very nostalgic trip down memory lane for me. Good to see it is still in existence. Could do with some TLC but overall still a great pubic space. With regard to dog poo some reviews mention that is caused by irresponsible dog owners who should be prosecuted. Lovely space for everyone to enjoy. Definitely recommend.

    Beautiful and relaxing park
Visited the Scarborough area for a long weekend and made the town centre one of our days out. The car park is right next to the park entrance and lake (tick). The walk around the lake is flat (tick). There are plenty of benches for the less able in our party to take a breather (tick) and there are several paths off to the side for a longer walk. . Loved the oriental theme and waterfall. Being pre-Easter, the boats were not operating but that was OK.

    Friendly squirrels
The proprietors of our b&b told us that the squirrels were particularly friendly and would eat from people's hands. We bought some peanuts and set of to see if this was true. Hence, we spent a lovely afternoon feeding squirrels (and pigeons and seagulls.....). The entire park is beautiful with a myriad of streams and waterfalls. Very attractive and well worth visiting.

    Great family fun!
A lovely park, lots of different areas to explore. The boating lake and dragon boats were a big hit with our two young ones.. the woodland trail with the fairy app was also lots of fun. Plenty to do, putting green, Oriental garden, cafe and free toilets!!

Such a beautiful park for a stroll around in the sunshine - highly recommend
This is such a gorgeous park with lots of different areas to explore. We really loved the oriental theme and waterfall. The boating lake and dragon boats are great fun - and a helluva workout! Friendly grey squirrels :-) We planned to go back after nightfall to see the park lit by all the lanterns but sadly never got the chance. Hopefully we can return on another family vacation soon.

    Lovely
Such a lovely park. Nice walks, boats and there is also the boat show, which we unfortunately missed. Love the Chinese theme and the lights. Lots of friendly ducks and geese too! Worth a visit if you are in the area. Used to visit when I was a child and I’m glad I have new memories to make with my kids.

    Fun day at Peasholm Park
Lovely place to bring the dog for a walk. Walk beside the ducks and swans and count the squirrels. Go for ride on the small boats, play crazy golf and have a cuppa. Even better if its a good day. We didn't manage to visit the island as we ran out of time. Great place for a family day out.

    Lovely Park
I visited Peasholm Park for primarily the battle ships show, which was quite brilliant to watch and to here the history behind it. I was surprised to also see peddle boats that went around the lake in the middle of the park. The park itself is very maintained and has lovely scenery, with squirrels scurrying all over and a beautiful waterfall.

We visited not long after it had flooded so it was a bit muddy. Nevertheless we had a nice walk around the park and the lake. There are plenty seating areas if you'd like to sit and watch the world go by.

Peasholm is a superb park, whenever you go and we have enjoyed it for years. It is a pleasant walk around the park and there are plenty of places to sit down and watch the wildlife. We saw several grey squirrels, a foraging rat and an abundance of assorted birds; some of which must have been elephant birds, going by the size of their droppings. There was nothing open at this time of year but it was still enjoyable, even on a dull day. It is well worth a visit during the peak summer months, when the naval battles take place. You can also go boating around the lake then.

The park is beautiful, with its Oriental themed gardens around the boating lake and the tree walk with friendly squirrels. There's a cafe by the lake, and toilet facilities. The Naval Battle is worth seeing; it's been going for over 70 years! Plenty of seating, dogs welcome on leads.

Lovely park with walks, children’s play areas, boating lake and cafe. Close to North Beach in Scarborough with open top buses running regularly to South Beach and Scarborough centre.
