This is a great place to wander around. When we were there there was a brass band playing in the middle of the lake. Apart from the pedal dragons make sure you wander up the stream/ravine to the lily pond at the top.

A short walk from our B & B, a lovely location to eat our sandwiches, whilst watching people enjoying the many facilities in the park.

Visited the park on a lovely hot sunny day. Fantastic gardens, very well kept with a beautiful waterfall on a boating lake. We hired a pedal boat and wandered the gardens spending about 2 hours in total in the park. Prices for boats and ice...More

Well kept gardens and grounds. Boating lake with swans and ducks galore. Easy to get around and well worth a stroll.

Yes you can walk round all of it, it's wheelchair and pushchair friendly too so not hard work. I wouldn't like to say how far it is but I would estimate a mile in total right round. Hope this helps, if you want a longer walk... More
