    Lovely
Such a lovely park. Nice walks, boats and there is also the boat show, which we unfortunately missed. Love the Chinese theme and the lights. Lots of friendly ducks and geese too! Worth a visit if you are in the area. Used to visit when I was a child and I’m glad I have new memories to make with my kids.

    Fun day at Peasholm Park
Lovely place to bring the dog for a walk. Walk beside the ducks and swans and count the squirrels. Go for ride on the small boats, play crazy golf and have a cuppa. Even better if its a good day. We didn't manage to visit the island as we ran out of time. Great place for a family day out.

    Lovely Park
I visited Peasholm Park for primarily the battle ships show, which was quite brilliant to watch and to here the history behind it. I was surprised to also see peddle boats that went around the lake in the middle of the park. The park itself is very maintained and has lovely scenery, with squirrels scurrying all over and a beautiful waterfall.

    Great tourist attraction
Great park, huge, with a lake, dragon boats, wildlife such as squirrels, swans. Plenty of benches dotted around for you to sit and just take in the views. Cafe onsite too for drinks, ices.

    Scarborough has something for everyone.
I wonder how many people who are lucky enough to visit this lovely holiday resort are aware of the multitude of parks, walks and rose gardens there are. Walk if you can, along and through the Italian Gardens at one end and then go by bus if necessary to Peasholm at the other. Walk through the park opposite the Royal Hotel in the middle and catch the tramway next to it and go up again.

    Scarborough's Must-See Beauty Spot
I have always loved this park in the heart of Scarborough's North Bay ever since I were a child and have many fond memories of the place. It is so beautiful with the unique bridge and Pagoda in the middle and lovely, cascading waterfalls. There is Dragon Peddleboats or Rowboats to hire for 30 minutes inexpensively and a cafe with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a picnic. There is also a highly entertaining Naval Warship demonstration three days a week on the lake which is always worth a watch.

    Beautiful Peasholm
Beautiful park, we watched the naval battle with our Grandchildren, I first watched it when I was their age ! Had coffee in the lovely park cafe overlooking the lake, Family went out on a Dragon boat around the island. Another day we say and listened to an orchestra in the bandstand on the lake.

A beautiful park with lots to see
A truly stunning park with lots to keep you busy. We visited for he Naval Warfare display on the lake, a favourite from my own childhood. We then take a walk around the park and island while we wait for the line for the boats to go down (there's always a rush after the display with the lake being closed for a period in advance). The pedalos are in-keeping with the theme of the park which is a nice touch. There are different pricing tiers based on the number of people going in each boat (1-5 people). We've never used the cafe, but there is a good selection of treats at the ice cream booth.

Peasholm Park is always a joy to walk around. My family and I visited the park one cold, wet April day and, despite the weather, enjoyed the chance to chill (literally that is).

Never fail to visit this park when we holiday in Scarborough, It's such a beautiful setting, with the large boating lake with the Pedalo's that you can hire.
The large Pagoda that dominates the park with it's delightful Japanese garden is worth the climb to see, there is even a cafe for drinks and light snacks.

Peaseholme Park is an Oriental themed park located about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Scarbrough.

The park explores its historical roots and why it is Orientally themed as you walk around it and take in the sites. From the beautiful pagoda and waterfall at the centre of the lake to the hand carved statues and woodwork throughout the park, there is always something to see and explore.

There are toilets in the park and a cafe (but this was closed when we went on a Sunday) so I can imagine that on a beautiful summer day, this would be a beautiful place to walk around with the family whilst eating an ice cream.

Beautiful park, can also feel the soothing breeze from the nearby sea. The one thing that stressed me out however were the many people feeding bread to ducks and other birds - it's harmful to these animals. I wish there were signs up informing people not just to not feed them bread but also as to why. This education is dearly needed to protect our bird friends.

My parents had been raving about Peasholm Park since shortly after the Boer War came to its dramatic conclusion.
They had lived in Scarborough for some time. It was nicer than the Algarve, apparently. Prettier than a field of tulips, more good people than a nunnery . Imagine my surprise when I went.
Peasholm Park is a delight, however. A really rather nice part of the town. A park in the truest sense of the word. Nice surroundings, lovely walks, perfect spot to spend quality time with your family or friends. Or both.
An ideal spot to whip out the egg and cress and enjoy a glass or two on the picnic rug.

We visited not long after it had flooded so it was a bit muddy. Nevertheless we had a nice walk around the park and the lake. There are plenty seating areas if you'd like to sit and watch the world go by.

Peasholm is a superb park, whenever you go and we have enjoyed it for years. It is a pleasant walk around the park and there are plenty of places to sit down and watch the wildlife. We saw several grey squirrels, a foraging rat and an abundance of assorted birds; some of which must have been elephant birds, going by the size of their droppings. There was nothing open at this time of year but it was still enjoyable, even on a dull day. It is well worth a visit during the peak summer months, when the naval battles take place. You can also go boating around the lake then.
