Used the WSR after a massive hike along the coast path from Minehead. Departed from Watchet and took in some amazing views. The staff onboard were lovely but the carriages could do with a little tlc.

Is Minehead itself suitable for older people who could use disabled trollies, walking sticks etc., Is there a shopping area on the flat with no cobbles?

Minehead is fine for older people. My Mum gets taken up the Avenue (high st) in her wheelchair. Minehead has a lot of older people as residents and visitors and they all manage. Enjoy your visit.

The car park was quite extensive and as a non-wheelchair user it would seem to me that there would have been no problem
