We have been members of the English Heritage for a few years but we had never visited Wrest Park.

Went there with some friends. Interesting place, very relaxed, even in the winter was worth checking out. An older house and lovely grounds, something for everyone. Lots of places for the kids to play, plenty of good photo ops also.
PLACE is wonderful. I go all year round... the gardens are fab... peaceful, tranquil walks. staff friendly... love the place.... grandkids love it also....
My only complaint I have is regarding the restaurant, they are so slow when serving, and there's never enough staff on...More
Wonderful place for a walk or a wedding! My son got married here and it was perfect! The Orangrey was perfect the canapes and free champagne a great way to start a wedding and the wedding breakfast gorgeous!
Excellent place to take a walk with the dogs. Full of history and beautiful gardens. Brilliant place for kids to let off steam in the play area while the parents have a well deserved drink.
We started the visit with a coffee and scone, as you do. A good start that set us up for over three hours of wandering around - and we didn't visit every corner.

Wrest Park is a beautiful large country house with outstanding gardens, stacked in history.
Ideal for families as there is a free play area and restaurant for all to enjoy. The children also lose themselves is the acres of gardens, trees and outside buildings.

We've not actually managed to get inside yet to find out - there always seems to be some posh wedding on when we go which means it's closed to us ordinaries:-)
