Even though I live close by and have bee on the football pitches nearby, I had never been in the building itself. The building is gorgeous and the grounds even more so. The assistance we received and helpfulness was impeccible. There is one downfall -...More

Tried to enquire about booking our wedding at Wrest Park, the wedding co-ordinator, Nicki Fhalora didn't bother returning my call, until I called the main reception number. She then promised to send some details about wedding caterers which she never did. Awful service!More

Beautiful old building and lovely grounds. I love taking my son here as he can run and run. Such a lovely national heritage site and well worth a visit. The cafe has great coffee and the kids can play in the fantastic play area.

Part of English Heritage but well worth the Admission if you are not a Member. The Mansion is a delight with excellent decor and loads of history. Excellent mobile audio facilities to guide you though the house and gardens.

We visited here last Sunday and had a lovely time wandering round the huge gardens and the house, there are plenty of sculptures to look at and well kept gardens. Lots of photo opportunities I didn’t expect it to be as big as it was!...More

Take a whole day to experience the wonderful Wrest Psrk. It has an impressive mansion house, and many buildings in the park itself, including the Pavillion, the Orangery, the Bathhouse, the Bowling Green House and so on. The park itself is really beautiful, with extensive...More

A half term visit where we followed the Halloween clues, including some very entertaining stories from two storytellers to find who the 'ghost' of Wrest is. My 5yo didn't really understand how what we were doing was finding clues and all of the deduction was...More

Visited with my daughter and grandchildren, we all loved it. Enjoyed having somewhere good to sit for tea and cakes (excellent) in the area where the children were playing.

Worth a visit. Lovely house and large gardens. Good restaurant but on a nice day would recommend a picnic.

We had a great night at the Van Morrison gig. Only complaint is the question to get in. Missed 1st act as trapped on the main road for best part off hour and half. Pretty setting. A bugger to get in on events.

Had a lovely time walking around the vast gardens which are beautiful but did not realise that the house is not furnished, just empty rooms. We could not go upstairs as closed so just walked around the few rooms downstairs. Wasn’t what I expected.

I don't know for sure if you can take your bikes in to the grounds but I suspect not, just walk around it is lovely in there and not so big that you would need to bike around.
