Whilst travelling around the area the tower of the Emley Moor transmitting station is pretty hard to miss. Even at night, the run of red lights can be seen for miles. Not much to do when you get to it except stare in wonder and...More

Its a massive tower and dominates the skyline for miles away . when you get close on the moor it shows just how did this is . however no way ups the tower and no great activity except staring at it , hence 3 stars

Emley Moor mast is a great place to take someone if they are passing by, It has amazing views and is a nice place to take photos. There is also a very nice restaurant very close called The Three Acres Inn.

Worth a visit to appreciate the vast height of the structure, but to be frank, you're better viewing photos on google from the top.

Visited with my enquisitive 7yr old who could not believe it was taller than Eiffel Tower. The views are just so amazing and would highly recommend just visiting or driving past. We've all seen it from afar but nothing beats seeing Emley up close.
