This is beautiful construction, but on the day when we went there was no informationn centre and no admission. Worth getting out of the car, but not worth spending much time there - though there's a good farm shop and cafe nearby.
Anyone who lives around Huddersfield loves Emley Moor Mast. However it's not a day trip. It's something to stop the car. See. Nod that you've seen it and drive on.

Ok so it's a mast/tower and you can neither climb up it nor get actually close up touchy feel but if you friends or relatives from another part of the world/country then it's worth having a run out.
But the views are breathtaking
